Going to break it in and then give it a little more aggressive tune down the road.

State Inspection & Dyno I got the car State Inspected today. Then went over to the local dyno shop. After a lengthy amount of time test tuning, doing some gentle pulls, then getting more robust each time. We are not finished tuning yet. But I took a video of the last pull. Enjoy! If...

Front End Alignment Got the front end aligned today also. I stayed with they guy doing the alignment, and boy am I glad. He really didn't know that you could rotate the plate to move the LCA out for the negative camber. The figures from TCP: Camber 0- ½ degree neg Castor 2 ½-3 pos Toe...

H Pipe Got a lot done today. Took a day off to regroup. Those damn gremlins keep sneaking up and screwing with everything. For instance, the drive shaft delivered to me was too short. Well I ordered, and received from UP (a few weeks late) a longer driveshaft. This fixed one problem but...

    Making billet T-5 shifters...need opinions

Any chance of getting one with "Shelby" (my daughters name :rlaugh: ) on the side? I have the aftermarket console with a short shifter and I have to lean/reach to hit 3 & 5. Also the boot sometime bumps it out of 2 & 4. And i like the holes, as it gives me a place to wire tie the NOS wire...

I have the trans issue resolved. Transmission was never anywhere near touching the crank. More than 3/4" clearance. I have that hydraulic throw out bearing. And when I put it together, it appeared that the bearing face was already touching the fingers of the clutch. I called standard...

Problem with the drain plug hole is that it would not be reading the water temp coming in to the radiator. A bung welded close to the incoming water would be better. I heard of somebody doing an in line bung welded to an aluminum pipe. Another option would be to drill and tap for the...

SPAL PWM Yes, quite possibly. I know that using the wrong ohm sending unit will affect the Autometer gauge. Since I only had the EFI sending unit in the manifold, and it had 2 wires running to it, I didn't dare tap in to it. The Autometer gauge uses a one wire probe. JayCorp...

Water Temp Sending Unit & Air Filter Shroud I had to install an extra water temp sending unit. If I tapped in to the EFI water temp probe, it may have caused a LOW temp reading by dividing the signal. So I tee'd the manifold, and added the dash gauge water temp sending unit. I also built an...

Cold Air Intake I built the cold air intake. There is 12" of round air filter underneath that fender. Still got to get those blue hoses off. I took it to the gas station (without the hood) and it has to be filled VERY SLOWLY. It caused quite a commotion. Many picture takers!

Radiator to Upper Grill Shroud Hood still off till I get the EFI/Dyno guy over here. I Changed the plugs because they were fouled. Not many new parts are left to put on. I am thinking about making an upper shroud for the attachment to the upper grill. Since I moved the radiator forward 1...

Around The Block Well, I took her around the block. I have three issues. 1.) Transmission has got to come back out. The input shaft must be hitting the crank, which makes it act like the clutch is not releasing all the way. 2.) Something is rubbing like a rotor against a caliper, or the...

Trunk Weatherstrip I used this weatherstrip. I can not tell you the manufacturer, as I got it from UP. Satisfied, yes. I thought I was going to have a problem with closing the trunk lid. Quite the contrary. This stuff is not big enough to seal in one place for sure. I used 3M 8008...

I had an opportunity to see two identical mustangs side by side, one with deluxe door panels, the other with just the standard. I really like the look of the standard panels more. BTW, they were both Black mustangs.
