    The simple way to check what gears, is count how many times the drive shaft rotates per 1 turn of the tire. Just under 3, 2.73. Just over 3, 3.08 etc.

    Edelbrock Intake Manifold rpm II

    What is your combo? The RPM II is best suited for a higher RPM range. When I was EFI, I went for a different intake, but it better matched my heads and cam, so it made more power. Don't just say, OOOOOHHH I like that. Unless you want to have a sub par motor.

    I'd go a little lower than that. Run a google search for static and dynamic compression ratios.

    I'm a little late, but the MGW is the best IMHO. I've had a stock, Hurst, Pro 5.0, and MGW. MGW with an orange handle takes the cake.

    What thickness gaskets? That will change it a bunch. If you use a .05" compressed thickness gasket, you'll be at 9.22:1. Engine Size and Compression Calculator
