    The 5.0 would have a roller cam, and port tuned injection. The 289 unless converted would be flat tappet cam and FI that is more like a carb. The fuel and air goes through the manifold. On the port tuned only air is in the manifold. The fuel is injected right at the head.

    I saw alot of muscle cars that sold around 30 grand. They must have cost twice that to build. The Monster Garage stuff I would be scared to drive, but they usually have 50 grand in crate motors, trannies, disc brakes etc. The trike would get you noticed.

    I like to see the DIY attitude. The hobby has gone from getting parts from a bone yard and upgrading your ride to buying 15 grand crate motors, 3 grand disc brake kits etc. I loved the part in the movie War of the worlds when you see Tom Cruise rebuilding a sbf in his kitchen!
