    Ok nice! So how "deep" into a rebuild do I need to go? Am I talking about a full-on rebuild with new con-rods and crank etc....or will a $300 rebuild kit with pistons, oil pump do the trick?(+ of course the machine work like overbore etc)

    :( That's what I'm going through..not sure what to get. But from what I've heard it's not the internals that will take a crap but rather the block itself. How can a rebuild and rebore prevent that?

    Yeah that's what I figured. Just wanted to make sure before I burn the car down....:-) BTW...I only need to put a fuse in the wire going from polo 30 to the battery right. Not the other one since it won't pull as much. Which fuse should I go for? I remember reading 30 or 35 amps?

    Well I've been reading some companies' sites and they always claim the gaskets are "precision cut for our headers". So I figured there might be a small difference. If not, everything is cool. Can't wait til I install that bad boy!

    Yeah found some stuff on the header-to-midpipe gasket. It's only on 96 and up cars. Some people have squeezed gaskets in thought because of a constant leak. I'll just see how it goes. Thanks Patrick PS, and the header gaskets should work right?
