    Help me choose a cam

Agreed. The Ford exhaust ports can use all the help they can get. I would also suggest a dual pattern, favoring the exhasust

    Main and rod bearing replacement

Has anyone here ever been very successful replacing the main and rod bearings on a 351W from working below the car, without removing the timing chain? There's plenty of access to remove the oil pan. Specifically the upper half of the #1 main seems like it would be tricky to rotate in position...

    What T-5's can I get?

Not really. Not without $$ It's much easier to get a 3550 and upgrade it to a TKO

    inaccurate gas gauge reading

There's a tab on the base of the sending unit so as it cannot be rotated in the mounting flange. Remove the wire from the sending unit, turn key on, ensure fuel gauge reads empty, ground it, ensure fuel gauge moves to full. If this checks okay, drain fuel tank, remove sending unit and check...

    Distributor problems

The only condensor check I know of is to see if it's shorted to the casing. (Continuity between wire terminal and case=shorted=junk). This would cause the engine to die/not start as there would be no primary ignition voltage developed. I do know that if the condensor is failing in it's...

    66 and a turbo

I have a blow-through set-up I'm running now on a 68 FB, but it's boosted by a centrifugal supercharger, not a turbocharger. I've put together 4 vintage mustangs now and with about the same system, and there were many things found out along the way, such as carbs, blower brackets, fuel systems...

Dropping 351 based motor in '65 that had a 289

I think you'll be really tight with exhaust headers/manifolds-- some of the others with the 65/66 will probably chime in.

    PCV valve hose routing

That's fine. But I would keep it plumbed separately rather than go into a multiple tee fitting in order to FOM in the future.

    Vacuum Formed Shelby Fiberglass Hood

    intake manifold help

If you use a few long studs to screw into the heads, and then lower the intake down on them, it can reduce the possibility of shifting the gaskets during assembly. Just something to consider.

    floor pan replacement questions

I always try to leave as much original metal as possible when replacing floors. I have never butt-welded them,(may want consider it on a show car), but leave about up to an inch of overlap, and weld both upper and lower edges. As far as full length, or 1/2 pans, I guess it depends on how rusted...

    I need a oil-primer for a 351W

That's exactly what I use. I usually wrap a peice of electrical tape around the extension/socket. It gives me peice of mind :)
