Did I get screwed? (tie rods)

Confront the shop about it. If they were supposed to replace the pair and they only replaced the one then they should replace the other. Also make sure they re-align it.

    Interested in a toyota!!

I just bought a new Toyota RAV4 V6 for the wife. This is the first year they are available with the 269hp V6. I have to say that thing is sick fast for a little SUV.

Hey thanks for the offer. Actually my rear seat is in pretty good shape. It is the front ones that are pretty rough. I checked out your car too and yours is really nice.

Havent been on here a while but I finally got my vert on the road so I thought I would post some pics. Over the winter I did an AOD to T5 conversion. I also pulled the motor and put new gaskets on it and repainted it. I also put an offroad H-pipe with flowmaster exhaust. It just got back...

    Need help w/ Belt Tensioner

No. With the belt off just bolt the tensioner into place. It will only go on one way because there is a stud in the back of it that fits into the accessory bracket bolted to the engine. Then put a wrench on the pully bolt and pull it back until you can put the belt on. The tension is pre-set...

    Need help w/ Belt Tensioner

Just get a wrench on the bolt on the tensioner pulley. The leverage from the wrench makes it a piece of cake. I had to use an 83.5 when I bypassed the smog pump but different manufacturers sizes run different.

How would I fix this problem?

The bondo cracked and cracked the paint with it. It must have a pretty thick layer of it. Your best bet is to replace the quarter with a new skin. I have seen some places selling aftermarket ones but I have not had any personal experience with them. If you just repainted the cracks would...

    sunroof delete question

No just welding sheet metal over the hole will not work if you want it to look halfway decent. The roof is not flat and there would be lots of bondo work involved which you dont want on the roof because it would crack over time. Its your car and you can try it if you want but I am pretty...

    sunroof delete question

OK I have experience in this. I am changing the sunroof skin on my pace car to replace a rusted one. Basically the right way and the only way to do this is to take off the roof skin and replace it with a solid skin. The hatch and the windows have to come out and then you will need to drill...

Quick question: AOD to T5 swap

You shouldnt have to cut any wires at all. It is basically a straight-forward swap. I just did it in my '90 GT vert. You dont need to change computers. The aod one will work just fine. Also the neutral safety wire doesnt need to be cut. I think you may have gotten some bad info.

No one will install my SFCs or H pipe in Columbus

Take your car to a local welding shop for the subframes. They will charge next to nothing for it and they wont care if you have cats or are just running open headers... The worst part of and H-pipe install IMO is getting the friggin O2 sensors out of the old pipe.

    Leaking water

Are you sure its actually leaking between the timing cover and the block?? I have never had that happen. Could you have had the water pump gasket slip when you installed the new pump or the T-stat gasket slip?? I have had that happen.
