Lowering springs for 1996 GT convertible

I have the Eibach Pro kit. I used to have H&R Supersports but they were too low in the front and it was tearing up my car. The Pro kit is still pretty low. I scrape all the time. https://www.autoanything.com/suspension-systems/eibach-pro-kit-lowering-springs Btw, you'll want to get some...

Bought a 1998 Mustang! But, need some help with an acceleration sound I'm hearing...

Check to make sure your serpentine belt isn't rubbing anything. When you accelerate the engine slightly moves due to torque so the belt may be making contact with something, a harness wire, a hose... Look for anything too close. I've had to tie wrap stuff up to keep them away from my belt but...

In car cameras for convertible mustangs

Well, I broke down and bought this one for the front only. I'll look into a rear view one a little later. This looks really nice and I just got a $10 discount from Amazon so now I can buy the GPS too. It will show my speed. This is 4K and has wi-fi. One of my sisters gave me $200 for my...

In car cameras for convertible mustangs

Does anyone have an in-car camera in their convertible? I have a '98 GT 'vert and am thinking about putting in front and rear cameras. I don't want it to look too ugly. I'm thinking the front may have to be mounted on the passenger side "A" piller since my driver's side has gauges. Maybe the...

How do I remove the central junction box on an 02 Explorer?

I can see the fuse side but the relay I need to get to is on the other side. How do I pull it down? I'm not seeing it.

o2 sensor is broken. Can I pass emissions?

If the sensor is still good and you just need to remove the "MIL eliminator", he probably just wired in a resister (in series) and a capacitor (in parallel). Cut these two items out and splice back the two wires color to color.

    Throttle getting stuck

Non start issues, bad fuel pump?

If you can't hear the fuel pump the first place to check is voltage coming into the IFS. If it's there, bypass the switch and see if the pump runs. If not, new fuel pump. If the fuel pump runs bypassing the switch, replace switch. If there is no voltage there than go back to the fuses and...

Rear Wheel Spacer Question for ya

I run 315s on 10.5" FR500 wheels in the summer and in the winter I use 25mm spacers with my stock wheels and winter tires. In your case 15mm would be perfect and I don't think it would make anything look odd. The car looks great as it is but if you really need to put spacers in, use hub-centric.

How much would you charge to change out a fuel pump?

Actually I am a licensed mechanic. I was nice and charged the lady $120 with her buying the pump. She was a real bitch. I won't do that again.

How much would you charge to change out a fuel pump?

It's on a '98 Ford Windstar Van. 3.8L engine and 10 pounds of sugar in the gas tank... and you have to do it on the side of the road by an apartment complex and a zombie army of crack heads...

    Throttle getting stuck

I recently put in an off road H pipe. There's been snow so I haven't had much time to work with it. I made my own MIL eliminators and I get no codes on the down stream O2 sensors. But I'm getting a code on Bank 1 O2 upstream. My cars running like crap. From the 13 years I've owned it, when...

    Throttle getting stuck

Sounds like two things to me... 1. You need MIL eliminators for the downstream O2 sensors. If there are no sensors in the holes, that may be a problem too. 2. Check for vacuum leaks. Carb cleaner doesn't always work.
