    lifter question

Roller cams usually last forever and don't wear very fast, But its hard to say without know if there was any damage done to the camshaft in your engine. I recently put a used TFS stage 1 cam in my wifes 91 GT and reused the old lifters without any issues. But did end up replacing the pushrods.

    100psi

So I installed some autometer gauges the other day for my 02' procharged GT. I got a boost/vac wideband and electric fuel pressure. While putting the harness for the fuel pressure through the firewall, most of the wires got tugged out of the harness clip. So I think I got them all back in the...

forgot to mark pushrods and lifters.....

Well I just thought it was as easy as put the pushrods back in and tighten the ***** out of the rocker bolt....but im guess I am wrong. i did not rotate the crank/cam by hand before or after I tightened them all down. Should I give the crank a few rotations and then retighten?

forgot to mark pushrods and lifters.....

I doubled checked the lifters and they all spun free and slid into there boars easly when installing, but now that I think about it there was a few rocker arms that were a tad bit loose after they were all tightned down. Should there be ANY play in the rocker arm to pushrod when fully tightned...

forgot to mark pushrods and lifters.....

Ok So I was doing some work on my wifes 91 GT last week and I replaced the cam and intake and some other bolts on, and in the process of installing a TFS stage 1 I didnt mark which lifters and pushrods came from which original spot and now there is a valvetrain ticking during idle and reving. I...

What cars come with 70mm MAF housings? I am looking to upgrade the MAF on my 92 GT to match my TB. I know they come on 94-95 mustangs, thunderbirds, crown vics and lincolns. But does the 70mm MAF come on any other vehicles I can use for my 92 GT? F150's? bronco's? Taurus? tempos? I only have...

    What do you think?

No I ditched the dyno sheet a while ago not sure what I did with it. The first dyno was with the 10lb pulley and it was on a mustang dyno. The dyno sheet may be in the glove box now that i think of it, i will try and post it up tonight.

I plan on going to New Hampshire this april for a tune, about 4 hours away. The other tuner is in eastbumfu*k and tuned the car with a fluttering BOV. Has anyone had any experence with Performance Dyno in NH? They says they have tuned over 100 stangs on there dyno. Performance Dyno...

    What do you think?

Hey everyone I wanted to know what people think about my set up for numbers. I went to the dyno last summer and he pulled 315 WHP which kinda got me down. But I know the guy didn't know much about tuning (only tuner for 4 hours) I know numbers are not everything but I really think there was a...

    V-band clamps on intercooler piping?

That was good advice, I have called SCT, they told me that it would NOT be an issue to mount the mass air on the side of the pipe as long as there was 7" of straight pipe on both sides of the sensor. his math was taking the ID of the pipe ( being 3.5") and double it which would be 7 and that...

    V-band clamps on intercooler piping?

I see what you mean, I still plan on using couplers and T-clamps on both sides of the intercooler and exiting the blower and entering the TB but there would be 2 or 3 spots that I could use the V-band clamps on, I just think it would make it look cleaner myself. Also I don't want to...
