    Lost Lug Key...HELP!

12-point just means it has 12 "facets" or points that contact the bolt in question. You will need to find one that is just ever-so-slightly smaller than the diameter of the lug lock. They make 6, 8, 12-point and maybe other sockets, for example, my Craftsman 500+ peice set has most sizes up...

i wanna hear some aftermarket cam sound clips!!!

My B-303 lope...it's going away soon! I hate this cam....not meant for our cars at all (it was there when I bought this car though). Must "right click and save" on link... http://personal.bellsouth.net/h/i/hitechhw/Sounds/SuperSync-b303-bassani_catted_x-stock_catback.mpa Note this was...

What are the typical symptoms of a bad ECT

Is it due to the car being cold from being outside in the winter? If so, that's probably just a warm-natured car (they seem to get that way more and more as they show their age). A defective ECT would cause your fan not to run, your car to run excessively rich (it helps determine your A/F...

    Rollcall...Fluidyne Owners Report!

Thanks RC... Yep, you guys don't see single degree low temps there in the winter, though. I'm wondering if it has something to do with that? Expansion of the radiator welds or something when they go from extreme cold to 180*+ ... Any more Fluidyners, good or bad?

    Rollcall...Fluidyne Owners Report!

Hello fellow 'stangers! I am (was) the proud owner of a Fluidyne radiator until a few weeks ago. At about 14 months/5000 miles it began to leak a little around where the fins are brazed into the tank on the driver's side near the top. Not a big leak, mind you, but a leak none the less, and...

    Custom Exhaust Tips

These tips are a pretty penny, but I have always loved the "rolled" tips like the new Mach1 has on it. These will fit most systems, including the Magnaflow that I have perfectly. http://www.mustangracing.com/shop/customer/product.php?productid=83&cat=258&page=1 I really like the 3.5"...

What size collector to H-pipe bolts?

Anyone know what size/thread the bolts are that connect the stock header collector to stock H-pipe? I'm gonna be dropping my transmission to change the clutch, and also switch back to my O/R H-pipe soon and I wanted to replace them. It appears that the shop that did the mods the previous...

is the bullitt suspension the best for $400

The Bullitt suspension is an excellent kit, however don't expect a massive drop. You might get an inch but it will not be much. Above all you will tighten up your handling considerably. The new struts/shocks and the revised spring rates will definately be an improvement from stock. It's a...

    Which plug Wires?

MSD wires ROCK but they are a tad short in my opinion. You will probably have to re-arrange them somewhat compared to the suggested arrangement by length given on their website. I like mine, I just wish they were each about 1" longer...but they definately fit better than those cheapie...

Reply Here if your LOW Coolant Light has come on!

I'm getting the same indication this cold season here, as mentioned in a few other threads before. I'm a stickler for proper fluid levels, so I check my vitals every week or so. My coolant is always at FULL COLD before I start-up, but Tuesday night, we had temps around 15*F and winds 20-35MPH...

    Low Coolant Light On???

I had the mysterious loss of coolant and "low coolant" light problem last winter, found that my stocker radiator would leak when it was REALLY cold and the car reached around 150*, but when it got up to about 180-200* it sealed off again and I could never find the coolant leaking (until I let...

Help me decide, SPEC Stage I or II?

Guys, thanks for all your great advice. I think I'm gonna go the route of the Stage II (just in case I need more room to grow) and probably just get a OEM flywheel since I'll be in there (I get auto parts from Carquest at employee cost since I know someone who works there)... But I'm fairly...

Help me decide, SPEC Stage I or II?

Cool, thanks for the advice...don't worry, I've gone 8000 easy miles on my car as it is...so I suppose 400 more wouldn't hurt. :rlaugh: I like to always go a little better than OEM, but I wondered how much more I needed to go in this decision. SS

Help me decide, SPEC Stage I or II?

Yeah, the golf cart tag I got pinned with 'cause they never see me lay down a black mark or shift hard, but I think it has a lot to do with the task of just shifting my car...that's why I wanna change the clutch/TOB and get the tranny looked at. SS

Help me decide, SPEC Stage I or II?

Asked a few days ago but didn't get much help, still torn... My TOB has squealed like a pig for almost 2 years/8000 miles and my Centerforce clutch is chattering and not releasing well anymore, so I'm gonna get a SPEC! But, Stage I or Stage II? Does the difference in construction really...

    Another clutch/throwout bearing question...

I've seen a few threads here in the search about selecting the right clutch/throwout bearing/flywheel... And I've fought it off for a while (almost 2 years and 8K miles the throwout bearing on my Centerforce clutch has been chattering away, but I don't know how many actual miles it has on...

    Couple of New Pics

That looks SICK...but the SICKest thing about those shots is the apparent level of warmth down there... If I left my garden hose out in the yard like that right now it'd shatter. You warm-weather guys make me so jealous. (well, in the winter time anyhow). My car is currently covered in...

Why cant I recieve new reply emails?

I've never used this option personally, here. I suppose they may have upgraded the forum software and when specifing the outbound mail server to use it may be foobared or something. Who knows? I'd e-mail someone on Stanget itself and ask if it's important. SS

Those with MM coilovers kit, Bilstein Part #'s

I don't have the coilovers, but I did happen to purchase the Bilstein HD's all the way around and got 'em at bimmerparts.com. They were the cheapest I checked in April this year (2003) and they had 'em to me in a few days. At the time they were out of stock at many places I tried to price...
