    Mustang for Towing

I've got a hide-a-hitch on my vert and it's barely noticeable. I only tow my Sea Doo with it though. I've seen one guy tow a Sea Doo jet boat wth his but depending on the weight of the boat, I'd think about a hooptie truck for towing. You might need to upgrade your brakes for towing something...

    Shaving Antenna, Interior placement options?

Not sure about interior placement but you can get shorty antennas from just about anywhere now. UPR has the billet look or you can get the stock black look as well. I just took my dremel, measured the antenna even with the roofline and cut. It took me all of 10 minutes.

    Powerball

Wytsang, they are weld Magnums, 18x8 in front and 18x9.5 in the back. I think the backspacing is +6 but Weld did all that for me. i went through Discount Tire to get them because I was stationed in Germany at the time. it took about 6 weeks to get them because Weld custom builds them for your...

    Powerball

Sorry to hear it's not working for you. I started using it last summer and I love it.:nice: I have Weld Magnums and they used to take me 1.5 hours a wheel to shine by hand. Now I use the powerball for about 15 minutes then finish up the small areas with a small cloth.

    Light bar install

That actually doesn't sound bad considering it'll take roughly 2 hours for a competent shop to get it done. The going rate is $65 - $75 an hour here. But the results will make you happy.:nice: Get the speedster cover after that to complete the look.:hail2:

    Sad day...

At least you got to keep your car. The last I heard, my brother in san Jose, CA said they were impounding and crushing cars that are caught street racing.:nonono: I know hind sight is 20/20 but next time go to the track.

    Anyone from North Carolina??

Starting in May there are cruise-in's every weekend. The Char Grill the first Saturday of each month is in Raleigh and parking is kinda limited. Garner has the largest every 3rd Saturday at Grill 57 and on a good weekend you'll easily get over 100 rides just cruising in and parking. Good Times!!

Dragon Plenum and Stock TB. Worth it?

Get a 70mm TB while you're at it. I got 14hp and 8ft lbs after install. I got the car dyno-tuned and chip done as well after the install. It's not much but it help with other mods as you go.

Just how loud is your Tri-Ax?

I've got a B&M and its great. I get shifter buzz every now and then but for the most part it's pretty quiet. I cut a thin strip from the OEM rubber piece and put it between the upper and lower halves to take out the tranny vibration and it works great.

    tunning question?

Where are you stationed in Europe. I lived in Holland and Germany while I was stationed there and know of a Ford dealer in Germany and a Mustang club in Holland.

Intake Elbow - Found the restriction?

X2C Motorsports out in SoCal has done some portwork on the elbow and came up with some good results. MM&FF did a tech feature on it and a ported upper with a 70mm TB came up with 10hp at the wheels. I'll have to dig up the issue to see at what rpm range the difference was at but it looked like a...

how hard is it to install lowering springs

It's not hard at all. Just a bit time consuming and if you're not carefull, painful. You can do it at home with some jackstands but if you have access to a lift the job is considerably easier. Basically, you'll need to lift the car and remove the wheels. Up front it will be easier if you remove...

    exhaust advice

I'm hooked on my Borlas. Stainless steel, warranted basically for life and they sound great. I had flows on for a few years but the drone finally got to me after driving to Cali for the third time (I live in NC but family is in Ca). I fly enough in the Military so a drive across the states is...

    what cat back system?

I agree with streetstang03. I just replaced my Flowmaster catback with a Borla catback and I love 'em! :hail2: They sound deeper at idle and at wide open throttle. With headers and an x-pipe you just can't beat them. :nice: I do admit the system is pricey but with the million mile warranty and...

    mustang seats

Are your seats stock? I ordered my covers from Jean Seat International. I have a 96 GT convertible with the stock seats and they fit perfectly. :nice: They even had the running pony badge silk screened on them. The company already has the pattern for your car so you don't have to figure out...
