    02 Console Test Fit

Have you thought about cutting out a piece of the stock console to fill in the gap? You might be able to use a strong glue to 'bond' it to the new one.

Car stalls when stopping w/AC on???

I'm not sure of the VSS, vehicle speed sensor, but the PIH kit is the same as running a Fox computer. I did not have to switch any pins as this kit includes the harness, plug and play. I did not have this trouble with the 95 computer. I'm not sure what tells the computer to turn the idle up...

    Too hot?

The electric water temp gauge is easier to install because it does not have the large diameter sensor on the end but they are more accurate. In my opinion the electric one is hands down better than the stocker and is easier to install.

    Too hot?

I guess I was off a little. Summit sells this phantom gauge for 56 bucks. Here the link.

    Too hot?

An electric autometer temp gauge is around 40 bucks and is REALLY nice to know what temp the car is running.

Car stalls when stopping w/AC on???

I just did a PIH swap and the car runs great! The ping is finally gone but now I have a new problem. Whenever the AC is on and I am coming to a stop the car will stall. If I turn the AC off and come to a stop then the car will idle fine. Do you think turning up the idle a little bit will...

    Now its Overheating

My car recently started running hot and I discovered the high-speed fan was not coming on. I live in the desert where temps routinely hover around 110.

All this for a 'high-volume oil pump'! Man, you have dedication. I'd put a factory replacement with the factory pan and be done with it.

    Hi speed fan ?

There is no remp probe, the fan controller is wired to the stock CCRM via the SN95 harness.

    Bad Ignition Module (Stator)??

Mine cut out all of a sudden while driving home from the movies. It wouldn't start so I called AAA. By the time they got there, 30 mins later, the car started. I replaced the stator and it hasn't happened since.

    Hi speed fan ?

UPDATE: I got a fusable link but have not got a chance to test the hi speed circuit. What's interesting is on the way home from work yesterday the temp got up to 210 and the high-speed came on (it didn't get any hotter either-woo hoo). Also, the low speed fan is on ALL the time. I am running...

    Quick clutch question

Chances are your clutch cable is trashed. My clutch pedal was very hard to push and it wasn't letting the clutch fully engage. I went with the kit from Maximum Motorsports with a firewall adjuster and billet quadrant. The cluth pushes way easier now, I'm using a SPEC 1.

    ford racing 347 short block?

The FRPP does not come with Forged pistons and it's a little pricey. I would go with a CHP or DSS. I hope to be adding a 347 Street Fighter to my sig next year.

    Oil fill spout

The valve covers are not interchangeable. The oil fill tube will not clear the plenum of the upper intake on the passenger side. If you are very careful you can insert a prybar or large screwdriver into the oil fill tube and GENTLY-I can't stress that enough-bend the tube for more clearance...

Mike, You don't need a high volume oil pump! These pumps will take more hp due to the higher volume. Get an OE pump from summit and forget the 7qt pan. If you're in a hurry check out NAPA.

    Hi speed fan ?

Thanks for the replies. I consider myself mechanically inclined but when it comes to electronics-I am lacking. Where would I get a fused 12V connector? Do they sell them at Radio Shack? I have wire but I don't have a fuse/holder to wire up. Should I hook up one end of the connector...

    Hi speed fan ?

I have suspected the fan was my heating issue for quite some time now. I'm running a Fluidyne, new waterpump, 50/50 mix, NO underdrive pullies, 180 stat, and water wetter. The car will run 210 on the interstate but once you get in stop and go traffic it will creep up to 230. I think I have...

    Causes Of Pre-Detonation/Pinging

94/95 Computers SUCK!!!! OK, the computers themselves are better but the programming from FORD stinks. There is no way of looking around this fact. I have been preaching in this forum for over two 2 years about this problem. Ford, in their infinite wisdom, programmed the CPU to not only run...
