My car actually runs cooler with the AC on because this will automatically kick on the high-speed fan regardless of coolant temp.

    air tube on the h-pipe

I had the same prob. The clamp was on so tight it literally bent the tubing and it would not come loose. I ended up using a dremmel tool to get it apart.

where's the best place for replacement cobra headlamps

I bought a set a few years ago from Late Model Restoration Supply and they are holding up pretty good. My sole complaint is that the threaded adjuster studs have surface rust which would not have happened with OE. If I were to do it again, I would have bought OE.

Takin the tranny out this weekend, anyone got any tips?

It's a good idea to soak those driveshaft bolts the night before, heck soak down the nuts on the exhaust as well. I wouldn't use WD40 though, go to AutoZone and pick up some 'PB Blaster' this stuff works awesome.

    Got my Cobra Intake

There is no need to port/polish it as that intake will more than outflow your stock heads. If you're definitely going to upgrade the heads than some port work might pay off. I had the same intake and am using a 65mm tb but I regret not going with a 70mm.

anyone using a spec stage one? come in here?

He's right, the break in is 500 easy miles! This was especially difficult for me because I did my HCI the same time as my clutch. I wanted to get into so bad but had to wait.

    Cheapest Route to 300rwhp

There is no such thing as a 'CHEAP' route to 300 rwhp. Unless of course you consider at $4-5 grand as cheap! I would say the least expensive option is to purchase a used supercharger.

    water in air induction?

If you find yourself driving in wet conditions you can pick up a Fox body rubber distributer cover. This wraps over and around the top of the dizzy to keep the elements out. Our years came with that molded plastic cover that is a real pain to remove/install.

I started breakin down the stock engine for my H/C/I upgrade...a few questions....

The oil in the lower intake could be a result of poor crankcase ventilation or perhaps from blowby. It's a good idea to change the pcv valve, screen and it's rubber grommet prior to installing the new upper intake. I removed my alternator and it's bracket-just set it to the side. Take out the...
