    so are you just talking about the rubber around the quarter window? did you sand it down to make it smooth before filling with hi-build primer? or did you just use hi-build primer untill it filled up nice, and then just painted it and cleared it?

    thanks jrichker, but do you think that i just have a bad ground? i tested the ohms when the tank was on the floor and it was the same as my 85 sending unit, but know is bolted in the car and dont really care to take it back out, also i swiched the wires in the sender but that dident work either.

    i did check the ohms and there both the same, maybe im just not thinking of something here james, but i still cannot figure why it would not work. the 91 sending unit is sepreate from the fuel pump, the 91 has 2 wire hook ups, one on the sending unit and one on the fuel pump, I dont have any...

    ya, if flooding pretty bad, see if you can borrow a set of 30 pound injectors, put them in and im sure it will be all right, like i said eariler and i know its pretty hard, but you have to put a few miles on the car to seat everything, and get everything broke in, compression looks very good, so...

    really only one way 2 find out, but the rings would not be seated yet, i put 6 or 7 tanks of gas through it before confirming, the blowby. If by then its still burning that much oil, do a compression test, will tell you what cylinders it coming from.

    hey, put a 91 mustang gas tank in my 85 mustang body, my 85 though only has the one wire on the sending unit, the 91 has 2 places for wires, it has a seprate sending unit and fuel pump, I made my own pickup by just removing the fuel pump off itself and just adding a peice of metal pipe in place...
