    same thing happened to mine... but i put a new xpipe on.. let it idle, and a ton of smoke filled the garage.. no leaks, nothing damaged underneath.. it went away after drivin it around the block a couple times..

    yea.. i thought they were cutouts when i bought the car.. but then when i took it to a buddys muffler shop, it was the tailpipe that was rubbin and damagin that area?? weird?? but oh well.. i turned those flows down right after the muffler. its too deng loud now though.. i was debating puttin on...

    When it comes to cranks and rods, what exactly tod 4340 mean??

    i believe 4340 is the type of material its made out of.. (ie: like sterling silver jewelry is '925") 4340 is the strong stuff.. hehe

    took me a while, but i finally sold my acura integra and bought me a 89 5.0 convertible. yes, i know its a fixer upper, but i love it way better than my integ! :nice: got it with a lower mileage motor (approx 40k), all new gaskets and seals, new clutch, flywheel, and stock everything else...
