JLT. had bbk and that thing was so damn hot when you touched it. not to mention that the chrome started chipping off and it started to rust, what a pos.
I have had the upr billet one, steeda triax, and the mgw shifter. upr one is just like the triax but cost less. but the mgw is by far the best shifter I have used.. have also used a hurst shifter that was on my buddies stang and it was ok to. anything is better than stock.
a few of the 03/04 cobras are using them now, but I am sure they are built up a little, but the are beating the hell out of them and they love them. so if they can handle cobra power then they must be ok.
I ran 18x9 saleens on my 99 cobra, up front I believe I had 255's no rub and out back was either 285 or 295 with no rub, but keep in mind they were nittos and they run smaller.
just go online to one of the tire stores, tirerack.com or tires.com and click brakes. and dont get hwak, I have had nothing but trouble with them since I got them.
loved my long tubes on my 99 cobra, but when the trans went out, what a huge pain that was. ford dealership charged me almost $800 in labor to fix the trans under warrenty, just cause the long tubes added to the work they had to do.
