    I haven't used a water and hose in the last three years on my Stang...I use Eagle's Wipe and Shine (and Prolong's Waterless Wash and shine for the lower portions/wheels) to keep mine looking good. But you have to do it at least 3 times a week.

    dual on v-6

    Ford has always made it difficult to convert the V6 model to a dual exhaust system...they want to maintain the distinction between it and the GT model. Let's face it, most folks will instantly recognize a GT from a distance with the dual exhaust.

    Go the dealership's collision department, for about $135 they will replace it. I had both of mine replaced after a whacko bird decided it didn't like my mirrors and scratched the heck out of them. Dealer wouldn't replace just the mirror...so for close to $300 he replaced both with brand new OEM...

    5 or 6qts in 4.6L?

    I've always changed it with the 6qts (includes filter change)...I would think that if you're a quart low that the "low oil" light should come on...that's really strange.
