    A pump is a little different than a tire. There are small gaps in the pumps internals that pressure can leak by. That is why they usually place a check valve after the pumping elements. (Technically a tire will lose pressure too, just over a much longer period of time.)

    If the pump is not spinning it cannot create flow/pressure. When it is off the only pressure in the system is the pressure when it was turned off. If you have a leaking injector, the pressure can leak out there. If you have a bad regulator the pressure can leak out there. Are 97's return...

    It is not the fuel pump you retards!!! The pump cannot create pressure when it if OFF. He either has leaking injectors or a leaking fuel pressure regulator.

    I have a mechanical oil pressure guage. When I first installed it the needle stay steady at whatever pressure I was at. ~20psi at idle. Now it is fluctuating +/-3 psi so fast it is making noise. Do you think this is the begining signs of an oil pump failure? Or is it air in the line...

    Does the needle stay steady? My mechanical guage is moving +/-3 psi so fast it is making noise. It happens at all rpms. Wonder if my oil pump is dying?

    Ethanol does have a higher octane, but you need to use more fuel. You start to go lean when you run on a 100% gas tune. Guys that are pinging, have you tried to up your fuel mixture?

    Ethanol, E85, 85% ethanol 15% unleaded has 33% less energy by volume. Meaning you need to run 33% more gas to get the same power output as straight unleaded. Wait until this E85 takes off and people have to fill up in 2/3rd's the time.

    The rev limiter is at the same rpm everytime. It's just first gear is reving so fast that there is a lag in the needle to when the rev limiter hits. I had the same problem in a 03 viper.

    I was just asking about the functionality of it....does it really produce down force? The only functional spoiler I know of is the steeda one. I personally will probable end up making my own duckbill type spoiler. Just picked up an Aerodynamics book too.

    You won't win on the lemon law because Ford didn't try to fix anything. The law is 3 attempts to fix the same problem. Did the dealer tell you it was "normal"....no problem to fix....no 3 strikes...no lemon. I suggest trying a couple different Ford dealers. Hopefully one of them will do...
