    GT Jay The short throw shifter shouldn't be a problem. All it does is change the pivot point of the shifter externally. Everything inside is still the same.

    I have the KDW on my car. 275 all around. They are great in the rain and pretty damn sticky for autocrossing. I'll probably go with the KD's when these are used up for even more stick.

    It is a design flaw, fluid may help some. My whole theory is that the 2nd/3rd gear cluster is too heavy and the small syncro cannot speed it up fast enough before the gears have to mesh. If you look at the parts in the service kit the new 2nd/3rd gear is actually thinner from what my dealer...

    Not sure where you are from, but the warmer weather may also be a factor. Glad to hear that it is getting better. There is nothing worse then feeling that grind everytime you shift.

    Problem with driver's seat shifting slightly

    I had the same problem coming to a stop. The seat would scoot foward as I came to a dead stop. I checked the bolts and made the conclusion that is was the slop in the worm gears for the power adjustments. Never did fix it, but I have a manual slide and racing seat now.

    Cobra2798, I had the TSB done last spring, that fixed my problem, not 100% though. The quadrant was done over the winter. I guess you can just look at the clutch cable as it goes into the quadrant and make sure it isn't too loose. Also if you have a stock quadrant you can adjust it there...

    From my experience, the fluid change and level didn't help, even after 1000's of miles. It might help if you condition is borderline, but mine was severe.

    Cobra2798, Do you have trouble with reverse too? You might have a worn clutch cable or worn clutch disc and not fully releasing the clutch. I had the same problem when I put my new quadrant in. I had to adjust my firewall adjuster to take up some slack.

    I'm trying to find a shop to weld in some full length MM subframes. Most muffler shops in my area, Lake Orion, won't do it or don't have a drive on lift. Does anyone know of a good place?

    Depending on your state, you might need to be careful with the police. I think you are only allowed 4 forward lights. 2 headlight 2 fogs.

    I'm in the process of installing mechanical gauges and I need to run the hoses through the firewall. Are there any factory grommeted holes that you can snake a braided line through or do I have to drill? Thanks

    You may want to wait If you are having the 1-2 grind you should wait until it is fixed before putting on the shifter. My experience the lower fluid level did not help my 1-2 grind.

    Warranty Item? If it is a faulty switch, it's going to be fun to get the dealer to change it. Look at the trouble I had with the tremec 3650 grind and I could reproduce it. This one is random and the dealer will never see it on their own.
