Someone linked this post to my attention. Thank you kind sir I did check it out today while at work. Word of caution, Mtn. View Ford, and yes their name is Mtn. View, not Mountain View...is not SVT certified. Buyer beware...:nonono: EDIT! I didn't even see the QnA at the bottom. They are...

    Traction Control Woes

18 years, unless you have your parents sign the liability release. Sanctus, you do have a good head on your shoulders, and like others have said, know YOUR limits with YOUR car.

Ford sales reporting system, aka DID. And yes, the 04 includes 05MY, these numbers are calendar year, not model year sales. This is total sales, including retail and fleet.

    2006 GT Convertible Under MSRP!

Great deal there indeed! A used BMW will probably make the dealer some money, maybe not right away, but eventually. Not to mention, yes there is a push to get sales in for the year, and some cash to dealer. Also, if they sold the vehicle within 60 days, that's more money in their pockets...

Anyone else think this must be a load of ....

Exactly, it's been 10 years, I would expect some vast improvement as there was with the new Mustang. Heck, even your sig makes the point, look at all your mods and your times, then compare it to stock 05+ times. PS, I've got a nice "grocery getter" I'd love to run against you, and I don't...

    November 2005 Mustang Sales Decrease

Hadda70Mach1, where are you located at? I find it hard to believe that a dealership couldn't arrange a testdrive for you. Hell, if you're near me, I'd be happy to let you testdrive mine. Those of you still looking currently, and at a dealer with plenty on the lot, remind them that anything...

    Ford, I dont get it

Cars are ordered to whatever specifications the dealerbody feels that will sell the best. Depending on their monthly allocation will depend on how quickly their orders get built. Yes, many Mustangs are sold in California, but the rest of the country gets a share of sales as well.

    Shelby $15,000 over MSRP

Mark last time I checked we're not neighbors. Look guys, pure and simple, as of right now there is no OFFICIAL price, there is no OFFICIAL allocation. Also, there hasn't been an OFFICIAL announcement on new SVT certification requirements for dealerships. This time around though, any and all...

    Torque Management?

You're not full of crap, I've heard about this and experienced myself. Without TC, say if you're on the freeway and do a downshift to third I've experienced a lag in acceleration, or a tire barking gearchange. Even getting on it in first gear at a roll, exactly like mentioned, you kinda take off...

    extended warranty advice

Also keep in mind your plans for keeping the vehicle stock or modifying it. Do you really want to risk something going wrong, then taking the time to pull off parts in order to not get hassled in the warranty claim process? If you want to mod, forgo the extended plan, and at 36,001 start with...

    November 2005 Mustang Sales Decrease

Let me clarify, there are customer incentives, and dealer incentives. There are currently no customer incentives. However, the greatest dealer incentive should be the Mustang Share Of Nation that will determine part of their GT500 allocation. The guys that didn't mark up their GTs and blew out...

    Shelby $15,000 over MSRP

Whine whine whine, you guys just rip on the company that's putting these together for you. Over the two years of the Shelby's run there will be enough produced. Not everyone wants a bad ass muscle car, not everyone can afford one. Remember the phrase..GOTTA PAY TO PLAY? For those of you out...

Does Ford want to go under?

Your figures are way off there bro, Fseries are five figures, Mustang does better than $1500 and the Fusion does better than a Mustang.
