    Mine is definatley a dud then,,, i had to grind about 1/16 of an inch all the way around the hole to get in in with a hammer and block of wood....

    It fit the tranny like a glove,, but the hole where the bell is, it wasn't even close to going in there!!! Did your fit right in???? Did you have to grind where all your bolts went in????

    I'm going to take the bell back off tom, and see if the trans will go into it,, it did earlier,,, than if that's good i will pick up the tranny and put it into the clutch plate and pilot bearing and see if it goes in,, for all i know it could be the pilot bearing,, it's a brand ne3w for part...

    dude you wouldn't want me to do that!!! I hate this friggen thing!! I think it's a piece of sh-t!! here is a list of problems i've had the adapter ring doesn't fit in the bellhousing,, i got it to go in after enlarging the hole, but now the trans wont go in it,, it's goes in all the way but...

    Didn't help... i will take it all back apart tomorrow,, DONT EVER BUY ONE OF THESE BELLHOUSINGS!!! Unless you absolutley have to have it!! i which I never did!!! Blandnuts.... i tried to buy one but nobody had one for a tremec tko spline,, I'm pretty sure it's not the problem... thank alot...

    it is the same, but the foldables don't raise as high, that's what I meant,, i'm going to try it,, I wanted to get the tranny on before anyways, since I didn't get a clutch alignment tool with my kit and will have to eyball it..... thank you,,,,

    I believe you only need a stronger one if you run a high pressure pump,, at least that's what dss recommended, they sold me the ford racing one....

    that is exactly what I figured, but I wasn't sure,I will lay the headers in the bay, i don't think my cherry picker will do both at the same time,, It's a fold up style, I just wouldn't trust it,It lifts the engine high enought but I don't think it would lift it enough with the tranny, I will...
