Get a Dallas Mustang SpeedCal. Mine works great, and I changed my settings when I upgraded wheels/tires.
Others may have had problems with their DM SpeedCal, but mine works great.
I agree. And be sure to get some good shocks/struts like Bilstein HDs with them......otherwise your stock shocks will be shot in a matter of months.
I can honestly say that my Bilsteins were my greatest improvement in my suspension (not that I have a lot).
I am extremely satisfied with my 275/35R18 Nitto NT555s. I just got them put on today with my brand new 18x9.5" Y2K Cobra Rs.
With the right amount of negative camber in the front (I have about 1.0 degree), the wheels/tires won't even stick out.
It really does matter what brand you buy...
Has one done their own balljoint install with perhaps cheapo Autozone rental tools or the like?
I wouldn't know who to have press them out and press them in around here?
Anyone with springs and X2 spacers removed have clearance issues with 18x9.5" Cobra Rs???
I've been thinking about getting these spacers. But now that I have the wheels on my car. I don't know if the fender-to-tire clearance is feasible.
What kind of springs are you guys running with these balljoints? I have H&R SS's.
Any pictures? I'm interesting in getting these for the extra 1/2" in the front.
I might get the adjustable control arms to get another 1" from the rear too.
They can do all they want as long as they don't change the badges out.
What'd be really funny is if the Cobra guys tried to make their cars look like GTs. I think then the GT guys would stop trying to play make believe.
I'll admit I have a Cobra bumper, and I've got some side skirts on...
Not sure if everyone is aware that the S2K is RWD?
A local guy here has a red one that's supercharged, carbon fiber hood, lowered, 18s. Pretty slick car.
As mentioned, in your case it could be a driver's race......but we're all going for you.
Every time I get out of my car (or a passenger) I move the move the piece (on the floor) back. That takes some pressure off the spring while I'm not driving. I've also stopped putting my seat belts through the loops on the top of the seat. That also puts constant pressure on the spring while...
So does no one ever run a 275/35 in the front? Pictures would be great.
Also what brand is everyone running. A 265/35 looks a little stretched on the rim.
I was wanting 275/35s Nitto NT555s on all 4 corners so I could rotate.
