    My car has SSBC brakes....but not the 5 lug. The previous owner did the 4 lug conversion....discs in the back and slotted discs in the front. I've not tested any other system, but can testify that my car brakes like a mofo. I do have what most would consider a full road race suspension to go...

    She's watching you post isn't she? Just messing.....nah married life is good. I have found out though that married life means a different set of priorities most of the time. My wife is cool with me spending some time on my car, but its a delicate balance. Finances are as well.... :D

    Install AC, probably get the new kit from LRS. Fix a leaky rear main seal Diagnoses and fix a few electrical glitches like non-functioning power locks, fuel gauge, hatch release, shifter light. Continue to clean, polish and paint every nook and cranny under the hood. If I can get all...

    :stupid: Was thinking the same thing. When switching colors....you have to do it right or you're wasting your time IMO. Move where I live....there are very few "nice" looking black foxes. Most are still riding stock paint or are red or another color. :shrug:

    I'm not a coater.....but I've had some done. Upper and lower intake....and valve covers. Not sure what part of KY you live in, but I'm in northern KY across from Cincinnati....and the guy who did mine is awesome and does it out of his house and actually has turned it into his full time job.

    Sooo......do you see a situation where one intake may make more power at different rpm ranges than the other? Or one might make a couple more HP....but have a completely different power curve? So, yeah....I'd say its not that simple either. If you're so handy with the tools....its an intake...

    I don't have dyno numbers on mine....but I'd "guess" its about 325 to the wheels or so. Of course it has more done to it than just the Systemax kit, but that's a great start IMHO. Its not very common on Stangs, but I've seen a bunch of S/C'd cars with this intake. I'd say its a great start...

    Is that 400 to the wheels or crank? I can't see the link. Plus...while I respect those budget builds....its a magazine. When it blows in a few hundy miles...they'll just make a new article about building a 600hp block. They're great for instant power, but not so sure I trust those for long...

    Not a fan....but I'm rarely a fan of black wheels. But more importantly I'm glad that you're happy with it! A car is a work of art in the eye of the beholder.

    I'm a little biased...but I say go with the Holley Systemax II kit. Works well for me! :D
