    I totally agree.... My point prior to that was that KB's to me feel more violent....for a car I drive a lot, I love the violent power. I have been in/driven cars with both blowers....the Whipple to me just didn't have as much 'umph' as the KB. as far as power to run...you can run 10's with...

    I don't think he wants a dyno queen, but he wants the power to run what he wants....650 rwhp vs 550 rwhp is more potential any way you slice it. Dyno's are just a safety measure for your tune and to perfect your combo.

    you won't hear them squeal like the 97 because you are putting so much more power and torque down to where it simply overwhelms the tire and they spin so much faster. sorry bud....more power=less squeal. not a bad thing!!!! :)

    My bad...I thought for some reason you had a 96-98. The 99's are better than the 96-98's, but the 03-04's are better than the 99-01's. The 99-01 heads ARE NOT the same as Mach 1 heads.

    My buddy hit 644 on 19 psi with a KB 2.2...stock motor. He then traded that for a Whipple 2.3 and said he wished he kept the KB. He said better torque. What reasons, I don't know, but I have heard that on more than one occasion.

    340 rwhp....cams, port your heads, bolt on's FYI The B heads are crap...if you really want better heads, get FR500's, Navigators, or 03-04 Cobra heads and port them. AND THE "SEARCH" BUTTON IS YOUR BEST FRIEND!!!!! ;)

    you can have an idler with a bearing going out....will squeak/humm. sounds like it goes away with gas, but you just quit hearing it so much. most likely a TOB though.

    lol...wrong s/n for this forum.... get a carfax...the blower setup is almost as much as the price.... make sure the #'s match...and that the title is clear and not salvaged.

    Which head and cam combo for 95 cobra?

    Trial and error for me....I had an 89 Saleen... I first went ported GT40P's w/ E cam....made around 250 rwhp. Then TFS TW's with the E cam....285 rwhp.... TFS TW's with the TFS stage 2 cam (same as the crane 2432) 306 rwhp with a solid tune....I also added a 70 mm TB.

    that much boost needs other mods to see it's full potential. the 2.6,2.8H are designed to flow with cams and heads versus stock cams and heads....which is why there was the 2.2 and 2.4.
