    Somewhere around here I heard that Helicoil = bad news... just creates more problems. They said to just replace the heads.

    Oh really? Wouldnt it be easier to just replace the thermostat?

    Thermostat = the valve that lets coolant flow when the engine reaches a certain temp... its the metal part that connects to your upper radiator hose right beside the alternator... dont think 2 would make much of a difference, itd still open at the same temp. :P
