Need intake ideals for my new combo

I'll definately have to consult with the cam guy before I commit to anything. I han't really thought of the Spyder intake. Any chance that one will fit under a stock hood? I have no ideal. I am pretty sure from what I read that the TFS-R box intake won't quite fit under a stock hood.

Need intake ideals for my new combo

Hey Guys, I finally have some money to start putting together my new combo. I am open to any ideals. The short block is pretty well set, and the guy that building it will be ordering parts soon. The short block is going to be a DART Iron Eagle, with all forged internals stroked and bored...

Questions about my newly acquired MSD 6AL Box?

I had mine under the passenger seat for about a year. When I got some Corbeau seats, it wouldn't fit there anymore, so I moved it under where the rear seat goes since I have a delete kit in there. So far I have had no problems with it.

I am a rabid Packer fan, so I will be pulling for the Chargers this weekend. :nice: It should be a cold game on Sunday for the Pack. The projected High is supposed to be 10 deg.

A new direction with the car...Turbo!

That is going to be awesome. I hope to join the turbo club this year, if I have enough left over after I get a new shortblock.

    New Year projects??????????????

I have a whole new motor that is going to get done. It will be a 364 based off of a 302 "R" block. Whole new fuel system. Switch from the twEECer to an AEM system. Install the roll bar and subframe connectors that has been in the garage for a year. Hide all the wiring, and...

    Fox fuel rail question

I can attest to that. I made 511rwhp through the stock fuel rails last year and never had a problem.

    Leaking thermostat housing

I vote for cleaning up the old housing and painting it. That is the route I went. I tried, tried, and tried again to get the FMS chrome housing to seal with no success.

    bbk fuel regulator?

Had issues with mine also I had problems with my BBK regulator. It was initially set to 40 psi with no vacuum. It was OK for quite a while. This summer I noticed that the fuel pressure seemed a little low just driving around. After I checked it, it was only generating about 30 PSI with the...

Drag Racing, Sway bars Yay or Nay

I am with gcomfx.com. Pull the front one and drive it a little with it off to test it out. This is what I did. When I disconnected the front bar, the front suspension would travel a lot more on my launch, so that helped my 60' time out a little. It was fine to drive at the track in a...

    MM adjustable rear control arms

I was a little concerned before I put them in about the extra noise. I had read a lot about the solid bushings being noisy. But after installing them and driving around with them for a while, I really don't notice any extra noise from them. So that made me pretty happy. MM also sells a...

    MM adjustable rear control arms

Those are the same arms that I have. They are a really nice piece. I have had them on for a couple of years now without any problems. I used them along with coil overs in the front to drop my car. Since I lowered my car, I haven't tried to put my 28/12.50/15 ET streets on, but I know if they...

    Which Gears if Supercharged?

I would stick with the 3.55's. I ran those on my car. (When it was running:( ) I am not too sure what level of boost you are planning on running, but last year my car put down around 500rwhp, and I was going through the traps at about 123 mph. On a street tire with the 3.55 gears, that was...

    Thinking about electric water pump

As far as I know Meziere is the only company that makes them for the 94-95 cars. You can either get them with the idler pulley on there to keep the stock serpentine setup, or for a little less money you can get one that doesn't have the idler pulley. Unit with Pulley...

    comic book fans

Yeah, a guy at work told me about this a while ago. It is very cool. I like reading comics, but hate digging them out of the boxes. Then you have to try and be so careful with them so they don't crease or anything. I currently have the collections for Spiderman, Fantastic Four, The...

headers: equal or unequal? that is the question

I have Equal length ones on my car now. :nonono: :nonono: When I do my new motor this winter, they are going bye bye, and some unequals are going on. The equals are just such a pain in the arse to work around.

    Ideas on this stupid question

I'll definitely agree to that. It is not something you just want sitting out. When I had mine sitting in the open where the rear seat was, it was loud as hell. When I did my rear seat delete, I put some Styrofoam on the bottom side to help reduce the noise. I quieted it down enough to...

    Ideas on this stupid question

I had mine mounted under the passenger seat. That worked pretty well until I got some new Corbeau seats that sit a lot lower. So I took out the rear seat and put it there. Then I just made a rear seat delete to cover it up.
