I'm trying to get the driver side head off and I can't get to the second bolt holding the bracket to the head. So I attempt to get the pulley off but the thing will not budge. I've tried 3 different pulley pullers amd everything from an impact wrnch on it to two guys pulling their hardest lol...
I'm juuust about done taking my engine apart for the H/C/I swap and was about to take off the driver side head. I was attempting to disconnect one of the AC lines and forgot its pressurized. I get it off and ****s flying everywhere lol. I need to know what the hell that was, what do i do to fix...
I'm in the process of tearing down my engine and am down to the heads. Everything's been going smooth so far but I cant get the damn head bolts out. I've sprayed them with penetrating oil like 4 times and they won't budge. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Steve
I saw a noticable difference when I installed mine. I haven't installed my MAF or other major parts yet so it was on a virtually stock engine. Better throttle response and alittle more pull up top. I say go TB before injectors and MAF since you wont need larger injectors for a while.
You're prolly better going with a ford one cause you will get all new electronics on it, though this makes them alittle more expensive. Just look around and find a used one. I wouldn't get any brands that are low in price since i've heard of LOTS of TBs that get stuck open, especially ones from...
Where would you get new baffles? I just bought an intake and had taken the baffle off to clean up the surface...but i left it on the floor and my mom threw it away with the trash  .
Try the search function. There were actually quite a few guys who had installed that a month or two ago and remember seeing atleast 3-4 threads about the kits. I bought the parts individually cause im short on funds but haven't had the chance to install it all yet (should be done next week if...
Yeah, those are what I was talking about, I know they aren't functional or anything but didnt know what else to call them lol. Thanks anyway, was just hoping someone sold them pre-painted with factory colors.
Last season I got a little rock chip on the drivers side scoop and it has been getting bigger every day. I know you can buy the scoops but does anyone sell pre-painted ones? I dont feel like having to find some place to paint such a small piece and was hoping I could get one already done. Any...
The engine kit can be purchased at alot of places including www.summitracing.com but you will need to buy things like injectors, mass air, fuel pump, throttle body, ect... so if you go that route and buy all new, expect to spend closer to 3000.
Just search around on ebay and the classified here and at www.corral.net. You should be able to get a H/C/I combo and the supporting parts for a little bit over 2000 if you are a good shopper. A decent combo will give you around 300hp. But nitrous is defeintly the easy way to get there and it'll...
