    AFR vs. Trickflow cylinder heads

I was about to get the TW heads when I found a guy selling brand new 165's at a price I couldn't pass up. I LOVE my AFR heads, but I'm sure If I would have gone with the TFS I would say that I LOVE my TFS heads. If you can save money going one way, go that way.

Magnaflow needs YOUR input- V6 exhaust system pictures- single or dual?

One thing I've noticed about V6 Mustangs owners who modify their exhaust: the ricier the better. How many 6 cyl mustangs have you seen with dual tips rubbing the bottom of the stock bumper? Or even worse, is when they get a fart muffler and add a 6" tip. They LOVE it! Magnaflow, go ahead and...

    Order of Modifying Stang....

Maybe YOUR CAI was $150. I got the Moroso w/ K&N for $80. You don't NEED 255lph, but any unused fuel goes right back to the tank so you might as well go with the largest pump available (they are the same price) that way you won't have to upgrade in the future. That was a mistake I made.

    Order of Modifying Stang....

I say do the mods that are fun first: Flowmaster cat-back, off-road H-pipe, 3.73 gears, shifter. Then go for bang-for-buck mods: cold air induction w/ K&N, under-drive pulleys, Nitto Drag radials. Then get the car ready for the bigger mods: Intake: larger MAM, TB, intake Exhaust...

    Magnaflow axle backs

I'm not happy with the Magnaflows on my '89 5.0 either. I miss my old Flowmaster/off-road H pipe setup. Do they make off-road x-pipes for the '05 yet? If sound is what you are looking, off-road pipes are the way to go.

    05 GT Dyno numbers in

In Maryland, Heffner's Performance has a dyno. They specialize in Vipers, but they used to be big time Mustang tuners, so they know what they're doing. www.heffnersperformance.com

What tire pressure for drag radials?

Thanks for the replies. Hopefully they will be worth having to spend $400 every year on new rear tires! Has anyone used these tires for autocrossing?

What tire pressure for drag radials?

I just ordered a pair of Nitto drag radials at 275x40x17. I was wondering what pressure the tires should be set at for drag racing. What is the lowest pressure that is safe to run? And since I heard these tires work for autocrossing as well, what psi would work in that situation? This...

    Goodbye 3:73's

3.27's should put you at around 2000 RPM's at 75-80MPH. Now you will get to enjoy that wonderful Mustang drone the whole way to work. Just something to consider. Option #2: Drive Mustang on weekends, get Honda for weekdays. Okay, bad option. :D

17x8/17x9?What size is right and what size of tires would be best with no rubbing??

I have 17x9 FRPP Cobra R rims at all corners with 255's. The front rubs at full turn, but it's no big deal. I plan on moving up to 275 at the back. The only possible issue that I can see is that my present tires just barely miss the quad shocks. I might have to yank them when I get bigger...

Going to buy clutch kit and accessories, please give me final thoughts!

V8only, I have been running the Dual Friction for 4 years and agree with you 100%. When I first installed the clutch, my car was mostly stock. I couldn't believe how stock-like the pedal effort was and how smoothly it engages. Now that I'm pushing 310f-lbs torque at the wheels, it still...

I thought you were going to pull codes. Don't tease us! I have a feeling you have a bad sensor. Every time I have a mystery problem (ALL the time!) it turns out to be a sensor.

    Daily driver

If you want a reliable daily driver, do yourself a favor and don't buy a 10 year old Mustang. I love my car, but every few months something acts up. 5.0's weren't reliable when they were brand new, and they don't get better with age. I love my Stang, but hate having to drive it every...
