    2008 Shelby GT-C Mustang -- Overpriced?

Platinum tools are expensive, my friend. :rlaugh:

    Does the GT 500 suck?!?

The SGT-C is the only Shelby GT that is in Roush/Saleen SC price territory. The normal SGT is about 10k less. It would be cheaper to buy the wheels/brakes than to buy a GT-C. To be honest I never heard of GT-C until I saw this article.

    2008 Shelby GT-C Mustang -- Overpriced?

You're right, 10k is certainly too much. You'd be certainly over the 5k threshold. Probably in the 8k rang w/ installation, depending on where you get it done.

    Does the GT 500 suck?!?

All proceeds go to his childrens' foundation. Those rich a-holes, giving money to benefit a non-profit organization.

    2008 Shelby GT-C Mustang -- Overpriced?

Those wheels tires and brakes cost 10k. I'm assuming you read it as "brakes alone" I meant the (wheels, tires and brakes) alone cost 10k. Also, I got my SGT for list.

    Does the GT 500 suck?!?

They never made that many SGTs per year. That is a little less than they made total. Limited production? Sure. As limited as previous Shelbys or exotic autos? Not at all. They have so many Shelby GT's because they can't move them. A lot of people wonder why spend the cash on an SGT when you...

    S-197 Shelby's

I think the ones that will definitely be worth something will be the Super Snakes and MAYBE the GT500KR due to how few they are making. The only Ford I can see really catching decent coin in the future is the Ford GT. The Shelby GT was limited at under 10k so we'll see if that gets them...

    S-197 Shelby's

I don't know if they will appreciate in value nor do I care. I'm having a hell of a time driving them now and that's all that matters. I don't plan on selling anything though. I plan to mod my Shelby GT...heavily. :)

    2008 Shelby GT-C Mustang -- Overpriced?

Again, the Shelby GT is 35k. The GT-C is a special edition and the wheels, tires, brakes alone cost about 10k. :)

    2008 Shelby GT-C Mustang -- Overpriced?

God is good. Can't complain. :nice: I'll get some nice pictures up when weather/time permits. Weather was nice today but I've been very busy. We've had cold and snow for past month.

    2008 Shelby GT-C Mustang -- Overpriced?

Fit and finish on my SGT is great. For the record, I got a SGT because it makes a great fair-weathered daily driver. My household has three GT500's (white, red, black) and a KR on order. We stopped playing with base GT's when the Shelbys came out. Cheers,

    Not looking good for 2010

That would be great if the Mustang got a 5.8. :D Geez we are going to need some official data. God Bless,

Why Shelby? Building an argument for the Mrs.

You certainly aren't talking about the Shelby GT. LOL. I knew that there are some crazy GT500 mark-ups but, still, I've never seen one over 90 (which is a rip off). God Bless,

most RWHP shelby GT (not a 500)??

I'm not saying that is the car's true value. The money was used to benefit Mr. Shelby's foundation. However, I highly doubt a Mustang GT would have generated such notoriety and cash . The reason it did so well is because Shelby's name was on it. I don't expect resale value to be that high...

Nah. It's not bad, but this is why Shelby Performance Parts exists. God Bless,

most RWHP shelby GT (not a 500)??

I enjoy my Shelby GT and never would have bought a run-of-the-mill mustang GT. There are just too many of them. Sure I am still driving a Mustang and sure there are minor differences. However, Shelbys are the ones going for 600k thousand on the auction block, not normal Mustang GTs (the first...
