    Not as well as I thought it should, the little 390 (compared to the monster sized competition) just didn't have the torque. I know the AMX's were quick - having been walked by one... and at the time my mach was running 13.9's.

    Yes, I tend to agree.. it is a very large scoop and may look out of proportion of a fox body car. You could try finding the size in a catalogue ( and use those dimensions to "mock it up" out of card board and see how it would look) Lot cheaper than installing one and finding you do not like...

    It depends on the year of your car and the version of the 6 cyl. 65 or 66 will have a 4 lug Integrated carrier rear (Extreme light duty). Any Mustang 6 that was a 250 CID car will have an 8 inch rear.

    Is the rear still 4 lug? THAT is the true weak spot of the 6 cylinder Mustangs... That rear is EXTREME light duty - just like the 65 -66 manual 3 spd and 4 spd. For as long as it lasts though - it's still a 3.20 rear ratio..

    As far as I can recall (I have spent more time with Fe's than small Blocks) The only difference between the 2v and 4v was the induction (card and intake) The different head was the Hi Po - Yes, I'd say that you probably have a rebuilt/remanufactured engine.
