    Id stick with a wire welder so u dont blow any holes in your subrames!

    The first time i did mine i used no references or any advice, just common sense! Its not really hard and alot of people make it out to be way more than it is! Its always good to be cautious especially on something like this, but as long as you have the car on jackstands, and let the arms down...

    Ive changed mine a few times, the easiest way ive found is place the jack under the a-arm and let it down slowly, theres no need for a compressor, then you will have to pry the spring out, do the back the same way with the jack under the control arm!

    Whatever computer u are using will determine the harness, 89 and up is mass air, 87 and 88 are speed density!

    for those that repainted their car and moldings

    Remove the screw, then slide them back, then lift up, be careful when removing there are plastic pieces that hold them in that can break easily!

    Cowl removal progress thread

    Got some more work done on the cowl finally, weldin in the cowl where the spot welds were drilled, the cowls pretty much ready for paint now, been busy doin the rest of the body work on the car.

    They are a little heavier than welds and are made of cast aluminum.
