    Will ceramic coating on BBK longtubes keep them from heating the starter up so much? The starter heat sink is a pretty big deal-breaker for me.

    That's a good reason. I hated having to take the spoiler off of mine to get the junk out from under it. Plus it makes it nice for when you wash the car, water dont keep trickling out from under it after you dry it 20 times. I dunno how it would look to take my LX spoiler off and put the GT one...

    Well this sounds like it could be the problem. I know for a fact that the previous owner didnt use RTV, he told me himself that he got a gasket set. Well good deal, I have some black RTV I can use. Thanks for the help guys. :)

    After looking through the records from the previous owner, the upper and lower intake gaskets were changed on 10/5/07. What else is there to leak back there?

    I have an oil leak on the upper rear of the engine. It is running down to the top of the bellhousing and dripping onto the ground. I have not had it apart yet, so I dont know what it may be. I am thinking lower intake gasket. What are other possibilites of what it may be?

    So did you get it fixed? Mine is doing the same thing, blowing whenever something is plugged into the socket.
