    351W question

I am not sure exactly what it will be when I am done. The motor is kinda tired so I am rebuilding and I thought I would use performance parts as opposed to the original factory ones. I would like to be nearing 400rwhp when completed. Getting a T5 to hold that is a different issue. Im sure...

    351W question

I have a 302 on my 70 now. I can have a 351W out of an 83 F150 for free to rebuild if I want. Will the truck motor work easily. I am also swapping the auto for a 5 speed, either a T5 or a TKO.

    Dumb question regarding 8.8 rears

Ok I know an 8.8 from an explorer will fit if one axle is shortened. Can you use you existing axles and just use the pumpkin. Just a thought but I may be over simplifying things again.

    Need opinions on paint color

At this point I have little choice but to do it the right way. What started as a paint job has ended up turning into a full restoration after I found out how the Moron who previously owned the car did things. She sits completely in bare steel ion the garage now. It had been painted red poorly...

    Need opinions on paint color

Ok, the wife and I are trying to decide on a color for the stang. Right now my sister in law can get me discounts on good paint so I need to get it while the getting is good. The car in question is a 70 fastback basicly a Mach 1 clone. The car was originally mint green metallic and that color...

True but everybody was referring to GT's so I was staying there, the cobra is blown so that is kinda a different animal all together, but oh so sweet.

    4.6L vs LT1/LS1

Ummm ok. At no point could a GT hang with my TA, roll stop nothing. Could have something to do with the 100 hp difference. BTW you realize even pushrod engines have cams, only one and it is at the bottom but still there. BTW big difference between LT1 and LS1

    4.6L vs LT1/LS1

I have had a 2000 TA and a 2001 WS6 and a couple stangs. Lets say that nowhere in the powerband is the stang even close to the LS1(stock of course). If all you care about is power the TA(camaro) is the clear winner. Now the rest of the car is another story. I felt that the stangs were built...

    96-98 4.6 question

End goal is to have as much or more power then the TA. The TA was about 320rwhp stock (of coure 7k ft altitude mellowed that right out).

    96-98 4.6 question

ok, so If I want to go blown I may as well rebuild the whole engine then, right. Kid next door has a 98gt with 55k miles I might be able to pick up for 7k, thats where these thoughts stem from.

    96-98 4.6 question

I have heard that the 4.6 in the GT's for these years is a little harder to mod than later years due to crappy heads/cam. True or false. Also if this is true than would a swap fix this. My thought was can the heads and such from the 05 stang be used on the 96-98 blocks. I would think that...
