185's should be fine. You can always port them if you decide to go bigger or you can opt for the 205 if your gonna go to a 408 or bigger setup in the near future.
Wow!!! I never had a problem with my AFR 165 heads..But again mine came from EDC@FTI and there the PS3 HEADS....I've had 2 set of 165's with no problems what so ever.
It's nice to see another 4 eyed car...You don't see many of them anymore.I have on as well that was a "stock 85" when i bought in 94 for 500.00 from a guy who's son had it sitting for 7 yrs...It has only 65k on it now...and it's a class legal P/S car.
It has to be in Vinyl if your running in the NHRA bracket program (Your in Div #3) what class are you running in? if you place in the top 3 in your class, you'll get a chance to race in indianapolis and represent RT-66 raceway.
If your gonna spend the money to get a "Custom Grind Cam" then you should degree it and follow the spec's to every number....If your off a degree or 2 could cost you HP.
Go to pep boys and get a brass 3 core radiatoe since your gonna replace the stcok one anyway.make sure you get a 15-18lbs cap with the pressure relief from "Stat" 50/50 coolant with some RedLine water wetter and you'll be fine.
Yea..Your right about that, but the T/W you can only use a certian cam size cam and then your gonna have to get new(twisted wedge) pistons...And my AFR 165's are total different from an off the shelf set of 165 heads.
