    Yeah, i lost a little time on the 60'. I couldn't get it to 60' better than a 1.94. I ran a 1.85 before, but that still doesn't account for the mph lost. I would have been okay with running a 13.1 at 112. I could have blamed it on the tires.

    No I probably went maybe 1/2 mile after the run through the gears on the gas. What gets me is, I basically ran the thing on pump gas at 14 degrees timing and it ran fine. i just put the 112 in there thinking it would be added insurance.

    What is a roller motor?

    If it has a flat tappet cam its not the original engine, if you didn't know already. Every 5.0 mustang from 85 up had a roller cam engine.

    3 inch exhaust too much?

    I think the 3" is going to be too much for you. My friend had 3" on his 93 hatch with a similar set up. 347/ported afr 185's 1 3/4 headers/ c-4. He was trapping 140 ish with the 3" and flows. Changed to dynomax ultraflow and 2.5". Trap went up to 144-145. This is on nitrous of course.

    You probably will have to fabricate some brackets or change your front assembly to the fox set up.

    If you get that combo right it should run low 12s. I have a friend that has a 93 hatch that runs 12.40s on street tires (not e.t. streets) on a 306 w/ afr 185s. Its a EFI motor with a healthy cam and a performer RPM intake. Traps about 111mph.

    Not to be funny but did you make sure and put both head gaskets on correctly? The fel-pro lock-wire gaskets are side specific. the reason i know as i put mine on upside down before. they say front on the gasket. You could also try a pressure tester on the radiator to see where the leak...

    It would, but its going to be an auto computer, and its timing/ air fuel tables will not be as agressive as a 5-speed mass air car.

    You could run the trick flow upgrade springs for stock heads, summit sells them, and a 1.6 ratio RR with the stock push rod.

    Its got forged h-beam rods in it too if you did not already know that. I just looked at the picture of the pistons. Some thing is bad wrong for you to have that much oil in the cylinders. Did it smoke like a train? What kind of pcv/ evacuation system do you have on the car?
