    I think the price IS a factor.. 1100 - ~500 for gauges, you are at 600.. so thats 600 for a piece of plastic they have injection-molded (assuming thats how), and with a pretty face plate.. The face plate appears to be flat, not rounded and contoured like the original. Of course, it won't match...

    no drywall.. I think you are talking about the turn signal housing - there's thin plywood there, and there is some silver overspray on it, so it doesn't look wooden. It's a choppey job, but it was fun.. Maybe one day I'll make a whole new dash cluster, and try a different style out.

So I'm thinking that the best bet will be to have my current master cylinder, the stock one, simply bored to the same 1 1/8" spec as the svo?     Another hammer shifter here - only 3k miles though on my setup.. It does seem flimsey, and I would put more thought into buying a new one, but I DO like it, comfy and cool lookin, and I like the ratchet style shifting for racing, plus the reverse lock-out is nice..
