    Advice on supercharger

I'm biased and therefore don't have much to offer... Nevermind. I love twin screws! A kick in the kidneys at any rpm!

    Sub-woofer replacement

jpplaw's right, a cheap used woofer would by far be the least expensive, simplest and quickest fix. But a complete system replacement just can't be beat.

    Sub-woofer replacement

Crutchfield is a great source. I replaced all of mine but did so along with amps and head unit and all the wiring.

    Door Subwoofer.... Removal

That could be true depending on the design of the driver. Mine is sealed; tuned to 28 Hz. I've designed and used similar enclosures for many years. Excellent response, amazing SPL and compact. Not a good solution for boom and drone though and there are a lot of folks out there that want boom...

    Door Subwoofer.... Removal

Ah. Well, sloppy lows are a problem. I like a clean hard bass hit - as I listen to many different styles of music. Not a good picture but here's how I hung mine (this is still during the install so the siring wasn't yet cleaned up and I had crappy RCA cables...) (the mounting posts are...

    Battery Box in '07 GT/CS?

Understand. The battery relocation was a pain in the butt, but it did have benefits beyond getting the ugly thing out of the engine compartment...

    Door Subwoofer.... Removal

Total system replacement - Clarion DVD/NAV head unit, Infinity amps, Polk speakers all around and RF Punch 12" sub in a custom fiberglass enclosure I made to fit in the driver's side trunk corner near the tail light. Hung the amps from the package shelf inside the trunk to conserve space.

    Door Subwoofer.... Removal

You can certainly put it back in place without it, but it's quite a bit of weight so I imagine Ford designed it that way to keep that puppy from coming free. And, yes, I imagine it will create resonant noises if it isn't bolted down. Regardless, the door panel is one of the easiest I've ever...

    2012 18" wheels for 07

You could just ignore the TPMS warning light, like I've learned to ignore my traction control warning light.

    Door Subwoofer.... Removal

There's a bolt on the back into the center of the magnet assembly. You must remove the door panel.

Lower ball joints and control arms - 2006 GT Convertible

Get a reputable second opinion. And if you need to have them replaced don't go to a dealer. Instead use high quality aftermarket parts. Lots of good aftermarket solutions out there. I like BMR...

    Battery Box in '07 GT/CS?

Go ahead and move it to the back. I'm glad I did. Now I have room for a Canton reservoir - just haven't gotten around to putting it in, or buying it for that matter. But it improved my wet weather traction just enough so I can't get rolling without a little fishtail every time I leave a light...

2007 Instrument Panel problem - Cold Related

Thanks. I think I found it. I have to remove the SC and intake manifold to get to it - the coolant hardline that follows the intake valley - I hope anyway. I guess I'll need that battery soon too...

2007 Instrument Panel problem - Cold Related

Well you were quicker than me. I spent my free time this afternoon "crawling" around under my car trying to find a coolant leak. For now, the battery still works... for a little while.

2007 Instrument Panel problem - Cold Related

I'm truly sorry to hear you were laid off. There are simply too many folks without work lately. I hope you find employment soon. I too have the "whirring" sound - seems to come from the kick panel on the driver's side. It also trips my information display to constant on odometer - which I...

Found this thread: http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums/2005-2010/203579-instrument-panel-delay-startup-resets-radio-clock-wth-2.html Looks like I'll need to put the old multi-meter on the Steed and check it out. I am still using the original battery.

2007 Instrument Panel problem - Cold Related

I'm having the same problem. It's not consistent and I'm not sure it's due to the cold because when it started happening it wasn't very cold where I'm at (50-60°). Besides my ride sleeps in my garage and the garage never gets below 62°. It's very disturbing. I tried turning on my parking...
