    93 Struts/shocks Install

Its funny how easy it is to overlook the obvious sometimes, I can build and install my own enige from the ground up but a stupid shock ties me up for 4 hours, simply amazing. I was actually trying to use an open ended wrench and grab the rod with vise grips from the top but didn't help. You...

    Boost problems

Car feels nasty when driven, but I can't tell is its at its full potential since I just did a complete engine build. Don't know if the power is the engine by itself or engine and sc. Not getting any boost when driving. I'm using a bosh bypass valve. I actually removed it to test the boost and it...

    Boost problems

i've been fighting this problem for awhile now, I basically built and engine from the ground up by myself, and the last piece of the puzzle was the supercharger. Now for the life of me I can't build any boost, at idle it reads 0 psi, just all vacuum (don't know vacuum reading cause only have a...

    GT40 (Tube) vs Typhoon

well that was my point too, but your now throwing into the mix porting intakes vs non ported and comparing them, a fair comparison is stock vs stock design and ported vs ported.

    GT40 (Tube) vs Typhoon

well for one thing both intakes have there pros and cons, it all depends on what your looking for, its proven that the the gt40 has great lowend range and falls short up top, and the typhoon is quiet the the opposite where it lacks lowend and pulls from mid to high rpm. so depending on what you...

    GT40 (Tube) vs Typhoon

This question always comes up and I can never remeber the 5.0 mustangs and super fords issue that they did the intake shootout, with the typhoon intake. Don't remember if they did flow numbers or plain hp and tq.

    bosch bypass valve mounting

I guess that can be done, but there's a reason why your discharge tube didn't come with it drilled already, thats because you don't make enough boost and have the plastic discharge tube. What I did when I upgraded my supercharger was I bought the upgraded discharge tube that was aluminum and...

    Boost Gauge Intake Fitting?

Honestly I can't hear anything out of the ordinary, well can't hear anything over the engine anyways. I have a autometer phanton boost gauge just boost no vaccum. But my gauge doesn't move at all even reving to 6k. Just wondering though Is there anything i have to remove from the gauge when...

    Boost Gauge Intake Fitting?

I never had any readings from my boost gauge, since installing my supercharger. Now I'm still trouble shooting the problem but I have the nut and ferrule mounted to the fitting on my typhoon intake, could this be the problem why I'm not reading any boost? I don't get it the vaccum lines exit out...

    bosch bypass valve mounting

fittings you can probably get from autozone or even a hardware store, there basically are plastic and have a threaded side and a grooved side for pipe you'll need a straight one and a 90 or 45 degree one \9depending on your inlet tube. And yes the discharge tube is the one that goes from the...

    bosch bypass valve mounting

see my attached pic its for a vortech but theory is still the same, u also need to have a discharge tube that accepts the bypass valve and a supercharger inlet tube that accepts the bypass valve.

    Make my own catted h-pipe?

this is what i recently bought, wasn't too bad it fits great, but you have to weld the hangers on as well as custom fabricate a smog tube for it. but for me it was worth the effort to save an extra 200 bux...

MY 460 WAS STOLEN TODAY BY MY BEST FRIEND

if this was iraq you would be beheaded right now, to much eye for and eye bs. One you should have paid for his atv that you broke, and two he shouldn't have stolen your engine. Your both wrong and make it right, pay for the atv and he'll give you your engine back.

    typhoon intake

I agree, I bought it when it first came out for that very reason that it was cost effective, I couldn't afford to spend 500 or 600 hundred bux on an intake, when I could buy one for $275 that with a little clean up flows just the as good or better than the edelbrock rpm
