    That's strange. When you said "blowout" I thought you meant it actually ejected the spark plug from the head like they usually do. That sounds more like an electrical resistance problem that overheated the plug and blew it up. Can you post a picture of the plug?

    Sometimes codes are accurate, sometimes they are not. PCM's are just whacky like that:). What is the exact code you are getting? And yes, if you program out the rear O2's you will not get any rear O2 sensor specific codes.

    Yep, supposed to not be a "+" sign. I types as gooder than a shortbus window licker.:p Most 2002's had the oil fill on the driver's side. Some of the 96-98's did as well.

    That code is for coil circuit A. On the Cobras there was one coil pack that was held in place by a single 10mm bolt. It was common for the pins to get bent or the bolt to come loose on that coil. And if I remeber correctly it was the back passenger outside coil.
