    wiring problems

    i have a 1988 lx notchback 2.3l. i recently took out the dash and did a heater core. when i put the dash back in suddenly the headlights, blinkers, gauge lights do not work.... i checked all the fuses and they are all good. i had a random toggle switch that is definitely not a stock thing hooked...

    well i found this program and plugged in all the info of my shortblock 351 and added the heads i wanna get for it... i dont doubt the results too much because calculating horsepower is basically all a math equation.... ill probly keep playin with it to find the best combo of parts

    i just used auto interior paint from walmart its rustoleum. im not too particular about using oe colors it matches the rest of the interior well and it turned out good... plus its cheaper

    INterior paint...

    NO!!!! do not paint your carpet. first of all it will cost roughly the same amount of money in paint as a brand new carpet would to make urs look decent. second if u paint it, it will turn out all "crispy" and with people putting there feet all over something like that u dont want it rubbing...

    i painted the dash, door panels, trim, adn that little piece of carpet by the 3rd brake light. i got the headliner, sunvisors, and carpet from 50resto for about 200 bucks. i have everything for the interior except seats. i ran outta money lol :D

    removing dash vents

    thanks i tried to take them out but i broke some of the clips.:Damnit: i didnt realize how easy it was to break those little plastic pieces and i guess i pushed too hard... o well ima try and super glue them back together idk... at least now that the whole thing is apart i can do a decent paint...
