Eibach says:
Engineered with the same care as our Pro-Kit springs, Eibach Sportline springs achieve legendary handling by aggressively lowering your car’s center of gravity, using our precision—engineered progressive spring rates...
The sportlines are not a linear spring, they are a progressive rate spring. With the proper shocks, they will ride great. Dont blame the springs, blame the fact that the shocks are still stock. You cant really expect much with stock shocks. Bilsteins are a great choice, and so are Tokico...
Right now, I dunno. But Ive smoked plenty of vettes, LS1 camaros, M3s, STis etc..
When it was near stock (xpipe, catback and gears, the only mods) I ran a 8.71 @ 81 in the 8th.
92GreenGT, did you put money on it, because you are right. Ive made 7 psi on my car just by revving the piss out of it to 6200 RPM. As long as your blower ends up turning under the max RPM, it will make more boost the higher it is revved
Guys do it alot with blowers. For me it gained a bunch of torque down low off idle and more power across the board. Exhaust sounded more nasty on WOT also. Its safe and gaurantees that you wont be blowing head gaskets from the computer advancing timing too far under boost. Id keep running...
Yes, it is. Technically you need a motor from the same model year car or newer, but theres no way for them to tell. Since you are going through all the trouble might as well put in a 351W block. :nice:
Everything sounds good. Remember though, the heat exchanger is mostly responsible for cooling. I suspect a bigger one is in order. I havent seen a stock vortech one, but Ive heard they are pretty small, and ineficient.
