    Which is more important?

IMO, it depsends on how you define "important". Important as in "makes the most improvement for money spent" or "easiest to install". All the responders seem to think you are using the first option. If the second, then Strut Tower Brace is your answer. My car has both plus a K member...

    Converting interiors

If anyone will ever use those rear seat belts, get some black ones. Seat belts are made out of nylon. Dye won't penetrate. It just lays there waiting to smear on skin, clothes, etc.

    crown vic 5 speed question

As far as suspension stuff for a Crown Vic, well, police car stuff will surely work. An easier car to build as a cool four door would be a mid 80s LTD LX. That was the small LTD that sort of looked a bit like a Fairmont. I kinda always wanted one myself. They were cool cars for their day...

    Will drag radials flat spot?

I've got a '56 T'ird with radials that sits for months at a time. When I do drive it, I've never experienced flat spotting. The old bias ply tires, yes, but not radials. Not drag radials, of course, but radials are radials. I wouldn't worry about it.

    Shift knob shopping...

Way back in 1983, my wife bought a new t'bird turbo coupe five speed. It had a really nice leather knob. Kind of looked like the newer ones, but not as tall. Later I put one of the first Hurst shifters in the car and used the stock knob. When we sold it, I put the Hurst knob on it. I've...

    Thunderbirds

I don't know about the in between years, but I had a 1990 Thunderbird 35th anniversary super coupe that had a FACTORY CD player in it. Earliest car I've ever seen one in. It was a one at a time unit that mounted on the console. I know this was a factory unit as my mother bought this car new...

Need help setting up Stang for road racing track day

As my first post here, I'll tell you about the way my car is set up. The fellow I bought it from used to autocross with it, so it's got a bunch done. Baer 13" front and 12" rear disc brakes. Still four lug BTW. I see no HUGE reason to do a five lug conversion other than you have more wheel...
