    Very valid point, i was just looking at it from a once, maybe twice use standpoint. If i was paying someone big bucks to set up a ring and pinion, and i saw them using a 30 dollar tool from summit, i would be quite pissed off.

    Just pulled the #1 plug and used the thumb method and turned the motor over with ratchet&socket on the crank, once i felt compression i lined it up with the timing marks to 0. But i still ended up being way retarded
