    Pro-comp Heads?

What Joel said. I am a happy Pro Comp cylinder head owner. Happy I sold them after correcting everything that was wrong with them and buying larger, port volume cylinder heads for my 302 based RR setup.

    Spark in one cylinder

Check your "salt and pepper" connectors at the firewall. Or at least that's where they used to be located in the 86'. Just unplug them and clean them up.

If it's a stock rebuild than 50oz. If it's an aftermarket build, you will need to know if the crank is externally balanced to 28oz or 50oz.

Poly/Urethane bushings squeek. It's the nature of the beast. You still have to check your "toe".

what are the things that can make a fox body wander around on the road?

Push left/right on the front. Do the same on the rear. If you hear popping/clunking... you need to check your fasteners and bushings. You didn't mention "toe"... if it's toed out, you'd have the same symptoms.

    cast iron vs aluminum

If you're not "class" racing, a good set of aluminum cylinder heads is the way to go... hands down. Aluminum will allow you 1pt up in compression for its ability to shed heat. Inline and < 15* valve angle such as World Products Man O' War 10* heads promote very good performance. Twisted...

    Are these Trickflow heads?

Sonny Bryant, Fred Carillo, Jr. Arias, and maybe TFS would be uncomfortable with the power and ET/mph this machine puts down. And I agree... to post "sounding" like an expert at making 400rwhp is embarassing when you have what "you" have in it.

    Are these Trickflow heads?

TFS cylinder heads keep making improvements with every generation they put out with the Twisted Wedges. IMO, yes, the newer style perform better than the older ones. TFS now makes the "Fast as Cast" version of the TWs. There are also the "Porters Cast" heads, which can be made far...

Rear end rocks side to side?

I assume you used the old factory bolts? If so, the grip length is probobably correct, but I try not to assume anything. Hell, I wouldn't even assume the hole diameter in the replacement UCAs are correct. If you installed your own bolts, you may want to check for their grip length. If you...

Rear end rocks side to side?

The upper control arms assist in setting pinion angle AND... keep the chassis centered over the rear axle fairly well without a Panhard or Watts link. If you have noticeable movement, you definitely have an issue with the UCA's and/or their supports. I just have to ask... do you have the...
