    HELP,,, 3.31,3.55 or 3.73 for 2011-5.0-GT?

If you're not going to be tracking your car, brembos IMO are useless. I'd say the 3.73's and HID's (unless you want to install your own HID's for about $50) would be a good idea and would take that $1500 the brembo's would cost and put it into suspension or new wheels/tires. I think dropping...

    Thinking bout an '11 (5.0 vs GT500)

IMO, you're not paying that hefty premium price difference for the extra power. You're buying shelby's name. It can be a good thing for resale value and bragging rights but at the end of the day, if all you care about is meeting a HP number on the dyno, get the 5.0, stick a set of forged...

    2011 Connecting Rods

Start saving :D I just paid off my car so I'll be more or less just dumping all my extra $$ plus what I was paying on the volvo into the 5.0 fund. I'll probably wait till the end of the year when demand isn't as high. with any luck, they'll have some sort of end of the year promotional...

    2011 Connecting Rods

yup. I think everyone collectively jumped the gun and went into instant complain mindset when they read ford saying the rods wouldn't handle boost. A potential high 11 sec N/A car with nothing more than a few bolt on's and a few suspension upgrades? that's C6 Z06 acceleration. Also, lethal...

first true dyno of a 2011GT

THIS X 1000!! Big dyno numbers are just bragging rights if you haven't put any $$ into the suspension. IMO, I'm glad that the first mods for these new 5.0's are all suspension related. That's what the car needs. 475whp is plenty of power for the stock suspension. Now... upgrade the...

Some help with 2011 suspension !!

I wouldn't necessarily jump on eibach just because of the drop stance. You could very well throw the vehicle balance off in a bad way or drop it to the point where the shocks/struts blow from being over compressed. Eibach has been known to jump the gun on new vehicle springs and drop too...

Who will be the first to release aftermarket parts for the 2011 6 cylinder and 5.0

Steeda always has parts immediately due to their inside development with ford. Looks like lethal performance has several suspension bits and a the shelby wing as well as exhaust pieces. I'd assume gears, LSD and axles are the same as previous year. also read that the drive shaft is a bit...

    '05 GT Handling

    Coolant leak in a '97 vert....HELP!

my intake cracked too. apparently the weak spot is the crossover behind the alternator. It's covered under a semi-slient recall. Take the car to a ford dealership and they'll replace it with an intake that has a metal cross piece for free. OR and I can't reccomend this highly enough...

Is the Bullitt intake worth it?

The swap won't be too bad. I did my PI intake swap in about 5 hours but 3 of those hours were spent trying to get the bastard bolt that holds the coolant tube onto the BACK OF THE BLOCK off as well as trying to figure out how to make the new one fit (long story on it over at Modular Depot)...

    Cobra R HELP!!!!

the 98's came in 17X9 I believe. The 00's are 18X9.5. They're cheaper than you think though. I got my 00R's from gefracing.com for $1500 and that included the tires and mounting and balancing and shipping.

Is the Bullitt intake worth it?

if it's EVERYTHING needed to swap intakes then yes. I'd take him up on the offer because even though the accufab plenum and TB can pickup almost as much hp N/A for about $400, the bullitt intake is all metal and will show more gains if you ever go with a power addAr.

    Cobra R's 17's or 18's?

without a doubt get 18's. they look so much better and you can run 315's if you get the nitto 555's. i've got em on my car and I get lots of compliments. :D

    Couple Questions about Tokicos

i've got intraxx springs. a more agressive drop and the springs are on the stiff side but with my illuminas, the drop is killer and the ride is awesome. It'll hang with WRX's in the twisties if that's any indication of how effective they are :D

    T45 synchros. Questions here.

he's charging $300 for labor and the random little shims, bearings and the usual wear and tear items. It was just that he had to order the syncros from cali and was saying that they would be $200 shipped and was just checking to get the go ahead to get those also (he said the tranny was in good...

    T45 synchros. Questions here.

I'm done collecting parts for my T45 swap project and the transmission that I have needs new synchros before it goes in. The guy that's reuilding it for me said that he can get new ones for a little under $200. Is this too much to pay for them? I have no knowledge of manual transmission...
