    Mustang= Good handling???

    This is a little spendy, but looks like it might cover all the bases. Stiffen up the suspension and give it the freedom to move without any binding issues. http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/comersus_viewitem.asp?idproduct=1314

    Mustang= Good handling???

    Agreed! My Friend has a 330, and I honestly think it is better in the twisties than my '07 coupe w/pony package upgrades. Straight line is a driver's race, but equal drivers I would have to give the edge to the 330. (A slight edge, but an edge just the same.) A M3 would kill me in both.

    Mustang= Good handling???

    As I am looking and researching for these kits, I have found only company that makes one specifically for the V6. The Eibach "Pro- System" kit from Summit Racing is probably in my future, but I need to do a little more looking around. Anyone have this already?

    Mustang= Good handling???

    Thanks, I don't want a full Road-racer because the car is also a DD. However, I don't mind a stiffer ride, in fact I prefer it. Basically, when my buddy in the 330 gets a little more nerve I don't want to get left in the dust. Which as it stands right now I know I will, but I'm also not...

    Mustang= Good handling???

    I took my V6 with pony package out for a mini road trip through the Santa Monica Mountains last weekend, and was quite pleased with the handling. I felt it was much more stiff, and even a little better in the twisties than my 01 GT vert. (maybe I'm dreaming) Anyways, My buddy was in a BMW...

    Newly upholstered seats

    My Dealer sublet it out to a Company called ASC. (the Sunroof and Convertible Company that also designs cars, Think Grand National) Anyway I had no dealing with them. I told the Dealership what I wanted, and they made it happen. Stan: You should look into Katzkin. I think you can...

    Newly upholstered seats

    Yes I did mean the Ford Dealer. The Ford dealer gave me the option of the stock leather or the one I got. They recommended these because they thought they were better. I did not ask about two tone, but I think it can be done. I know I could have gotten the perforated inserts like the stock...

    Newly upholstered seats

    Okay I just checked and the cloth did in fact come out before the leather went on the seats. This is why I had someone else do this stuff. Engines I can do, interiors, forget about it!

    Newly upholstered seats

    The leather Does fit nicely, but as you can see in the pics there are some spots that are not real tight especially in the back left seat. These are not take offs. The guys at ASC removed the cloth are reupholstered the seats. IMO the leather is better quality than the OEM take offs, but that...

    V-6 5 speed drive line clunk

    Reviving an old thread. In my '07 w/5speed manual, I have a noisy drive line as well. The Up-shifts make a clunk noise from time to time, and third gear has a whine. Also when the car is idling in neutral with the clutch out it makes a rattling noise. The noise goes away if you push in the...

    07 V6 Sputter?

    I just bought an 07 a couple of weeks ago, and I too use 87 octane. I have about 1000 miles on mine and have not noticed any sputters at all. Mine pulls real nice around that RPM range. Is it an auto or manual? What gear were you in at the time, or does it do it in all gears? My car has...

    New to the V6 stable

    Thanks, After I read your post I did some searching around and found this link: http://www.rpmoutlet.com/05v6.htm They sell a couple of "packages" that seem to really open up the 4.0. Looks like about $1200 would have me near the HP and Torque #s of the 01 GT. Then maybe gears and a...

    New to the V6 stable

    I just traded in my stock '01 gt Vert with an auto tranny on a '07 V6 with a Pony Package and a manual trany.. My question is this: Can I make my V6 as quick as the 01 with blot on mods? My dealer was more than eager to sell me some mods, even said that if they did it that it wouldn't void...
