Anyone have pictures of a classic with 01-03 rims?

im thinking he had the inner hub of the wheel milled down creating the 1"+ more positive offset?? is this correct? If so i too would be interested where you had that type of job done. theres quite a bit of mateiral to work with, but im curious about the integrity of the wheel after it lost...

Anyone have pictures of a classic with 01-03 rims?

fms 17x8 wheels r 5.72" bs...so depending upon your app/pref its likely you'll go with a 1 or 1.25" spacer to achieve the typically desired 4.5-4.75" bs.

Guess the mystery parts in my oil pan!

same way the oil makes it back to the pan, im assuming the rivets were small enough to fall thru the drain passage on the heads

    Good camshafts?

i agree you cant beat a good custom ground. look at spending ~350, but isnt too bad compared to the comp cams off the shelf cam prices. If your looking to go the cheaper route, id look at the TFS line well before contemplating buying one of the ford aphabet cams (B303, E, F X, etc).

    Production, Sportsman, Ford Racing....

theres no magic be all # to stock blocks... while pp believe 450-500rwhp is the beginning of a good reciepe for two 4cyls, ppl have split these with merely 300rw. Go do a search, you will likely see this everywhere. The life/abuse on the block previous to this setup is a good judge to its...

    Production, Sportsman, Ford Racing....

baiscally....a step up from the US production 302, the mexi 302 is still a 2 bolt block but has a stronger casting with larger main bearing caps and supposedly higher nickel content. A good find, and supposedly good for another 1-200hp more than its us counterpart, but ive seen them split just...

New guy needs header clearance info

3" coll, 1 3/4" prim...current 331 makes 350/370rwhp/tq NA, but will eventually see 500+rw w boost. Parts pending, so the 331 still sits in another running car, but I have mocked up the drivers side on an old 289, and didnt see ground clearance being an issue...

New guy needs header clearance info

Id give George Klass a call, he can make u a set of big tube headers to fit your requirements, and for well under the typical costs of custom long tubes http://www.accufabracing.com/exhaust.htm#HeadBolts I was in a similar boat needing a high flow header to fit in my 65... theyre quality...

    High Volume Water Pumps

I ran the edel alum water pump and saw zero difference between it and autozone/carquest cheapies. Ive since sold it and back to generics for a couple yrs now and see no difference. waste of $ in my opinion, put that $ towards a good radiator or fan

Aluminium heads: Edelbrock or Trick Flow?

While ill always promote AFR, ill give out a little Edelbrock love... Edel Performer 6037s...used on my stock shortblock, theyre an awesome cheap head made just under 300rw with tfs1 and AFM N3 cams. But i got the heads used so after a couple years i had over a G into them and thats not...

    302 w/ 2 or 4 bolt main?

i have several friends with very streetable 500+rwhp cars. If all your looking to make is 4-500 to the flywheel then id just go wiht a stock block. But you can usually find a decent deal on a used ford A4 or R block. The dart sportsman is another potent budget option sporting 4 bolt...
