    oil in the upper intake

Those look like the ones I have on my car. They have been on there for about a year now and no leaks what so ever from them.

    Nitto DRs vs BFGoodrich DRs

I will be in the same situation you will be once I get some drag radials. My track is about 35 miles each way, which is reason I am looking into the Nittos.

Just installed goodies, but have some probs

The length of the belt can be a little different but I haven't heard of going as small as you have just to delete the smog. It almost sounds like your tensioner is starting to go on you.

How small did you go on belt sizes for the smog delete?

    oil in the upper intake

Well, it could be a PCV problem, when was the last time you replaced the valve, rubber grommet, and the breather filter that is below that? Have you checked the rubber hose coming from the PCV to the intake, if there is a rip in it, that could allow blow-by oil to spray on stuff.

    oil in the upper intake

If your problem is actually a leak, it has to be the gaskets. Sometimes the rear gasket for the lower intake leaks if you dont get some RTV in the corners. When I had to replace my intake gaskets about a year ago, we used a Fel-Pro gasket kit from Pepboys, it came with these blue rubber seals...

    oil in the upper intake

I have this problem as well, the oil blow-by into the upper intake. I run the same intake as Eric does, but I havent gotten around to "fixing" the problem.

The Mickey Thompson website says something about a 17 in. ET Street, but I really dont know anything about it. If I was going to get a set of rims for daily driving, I would get the normal street radials we all run. For a set of wheels for the track, I would just get some Weld Pro-Stars for...

Nitto Drag Radial... BFG Drag Radial... ET Street... You should be able to see why the ET Street wouldn't be fun in the rain, but would hook very good at the track.

Well, the drag radial is going to a better street friendly tire. You can drive on them just like a normal street radial. When you just up the drag radials, you got to get them nice and hot and then you can rip some decent 60' times. Nitto and BFG are the major makers of them, MT has some out...

I have not done a ton of research on a suspension setup that I will want to go with just yet. Maximum Motorsports and Lakewood seem to make some of the best products out there. I do like the cost of the Strange shocks/struts from Jegs, I just haven't heard of anyone using them yet. Our tracks...

    The best AODE

Well, with our cars I have seen good results from just using drag radials or ET Streets. But doing suspension will make it hook better. It just depends on how far you want to go, upper/lower control arms, struts/shocks, and springs. Anything that will help with weight transfer, will help you...

    Tranny cooler.

Thanks RC, I will look into the B&M products as well. So far I just have all the parts sitting beside me, the rebuild kit, valvebody arrived on Thursday, and converter arrived yesterday. The biggest enemy of the auto tranny is heat, if the fluids temp gets too hot, it can start to burn up and...
