New stuff - start then no start - code 96 - help - jrichker?

You, sir, are a superstar! Thank you ever so much, this should keep me busy tomorrow, just hope I'll figure it all out. Right now my money is on the fuel pump itself being the culprit, due to the noise it is making, but we'll see.. Cheers! :nice:

New stuff - start then no start - code 96 - help - jrichker?

Am I right in thinking that this part of the error code "Fuel pump secondary circuit failure" only applies to cars equipped with two fuel pumps, ie not the fox body Mustang?

New stuff - start then no start - code 96 - help - jrichker?

Thanks TenorPlayinGuy. I feel pretty retarded when it comes to auto electrics, and I dont have my car here. What does the Fuel Pump Relay looks like? I think the only electrical stuff under my seat is the seat belt warning and lumbar adjuster.. Guess I will find it tomorrow on the inner...

    Crazy amount of brake dust???????

I used to have EBC greenstuff pads and in my opinion they werent too bad when it comes to dust. Now I have Hawk HP+ pads and they are much worse regarding dust. And more noisy too. Stops good though, when properly warmed.

Torn between 2 cars for my ultimate dream Mustang

I doubt that - as someone else mentioned they measured HP different back in the sixties (SAE Gross) and you cant compare those numbers with modern cars. Furthermore, the car manufacturers back then werent exactly accurate when announcing hp numbers - I believe it was more a game of 'think...

Torn between 2 cars for my ultimate dream Mustang

I am pretty sure they made only one in 1966 from the factory but i believe you could order the supercharger from the dealer as well. In '67 they made a handful, but not sure how many. I have seen a few different 67's in Mustang Monthly.

Torn between 2 cars for my ultimate dream Mustang

Nah, 306 hp is for n/a 289 cid k-code in Shelby 65-67. Dunno what it makes with that supercharger but yes, probably not very efficient  But I bet that was serious hightech back in the day :D

Torn between 2 cars for my ultimate dream Mustang

I would go with the 67, but preferably as a GT350 with the factory supercharger - best looking Mustang ever. Got to say the Boss 9 is badass though - but the 67 Shelby is better balanced both dynamically and visually.

    My car's in 5.0 magazine

Congrats, great car! I understand from the text you are running MM panhard bar and torque arm; do you have any pics of the underside? What kind of cat-back exhaust do you have, custom made or off the shelf?

    SAAC "Shelby" GT-40 Intake Cover...Rare?

According to the text in the ebay listing only the first 15 cars (out of 65 total) had the Shelby plate. I guess that means the rest of them had the SAAC plate - and that this one is one of those 15 original ones. A pretty rare piece!

best handling springs out there for non adj. shocks/struts POLL on springs

I have the Eibach pro-kit springs with Eibach shocks/struts and I am very pleased with them. My LX is my daily driver but I am also taking it road racing now and then, and it seems to hold up very well even compared with much more modern cars. I am going to install Eibach swaybars...

    Muffler Decision

I am surprised to hear that. I replaced my complete stock exhaust system about two years ago with FRPP shorties, Magnaflow catted x-pipe and Magnaflow cat-back - and the fit and ground clearance of the x-pipe was just horrible. I had about two inches clearance (car is lowered about an inch and...

    What supercharger to get?

I dont remember the part # for the plugs but you might find it in the FAQ section at the KB web page. They are expensive, but they will also last something like 50,000 miles I believe. I havent changed mine yet. I didnt gap them. I am running stock timing (10 before TDC). With all your...
