    from all the wire diagrams i have it looks like the switch wire he was talking about is to light up the switch. the smart box looks like it sends info to the modual that changes the color. i dont think it can be done. best bet is to upgrade the cluster.

    pull the blank cover off using a small screw driver and a rag. the wires are pluged into it if you have them. cluster and switch are about $ 300 bucks its worth it because you also get the message center.

    people have had good luck with cutting the rear end. i am not to keen about it but i dont want the different body lines that the gt rear has. at 44 i cant see that close anyway

    first, off plenty of people have changed the mufflers with gt take offs i am one without changing the rear. many have cut the panel for the exhaust, looks fine. second, no the grill is smaller wont fit right but i guess you could try. and third, the difs are different sizes on the two cars...

    well not sure how long for the x pipe 2.5 right. the stuff from ford should be here tuesday. so maybe friday or the following monday i guess. then il make a template and dremel out the rear. if i remember thats the best way
