    I have the same thing. I believe it is just b/c the oil hasn't circulated through everything yet, it only happens starting a cold engine and lasts for about 30 secs. I think it's a normal 4.6 thing. Mine has 63k on it btw.

    K&N FIPK: Worth it.

    I got the Steeda CAI (same thing as the K&N FIPK) and I think I felt a little gain, not sure though. They're both good units, I really like the look of the Steeda kit though. :D

    Went outside to day to clean up the car / under the hood some and saw that the timing adjuster was set to 8* instead of 10*. Would that have affected the tuning? I thought I was sure that it was 10* when I reset it before the tune but maybe as I was tightening it into place it slid down a tick...

    Now I need to take it to the track to see what kind of times I can get with these 4.10s and more rwhp. I'd guess somewhere mid 13's @ 102 or so with a good 60'. I think I'll buy Steeda alum. upper / lower control arms to help with traction, as it sits now it likes to spin them a good bit.

    Hehe, yeah you are doing awesome. Tim also said that the highest he had seen was 272 rwhp from a full bolt on GT w/ LTs. I guess that's about right considering that you need heads / cam to get near 300.

    Yep that's what I thought. And yea, you don't even have your timing bumped! lol. Maybe the density altitude was really high? It was really humid, but I'm not sure if that makes but a 1 or 2 rwhp diff. I'll dyno again sometime soon on some other dynojet and play around with the timing...

    Yea I thought it was odd too. Not sure how to explain it. My A/F was 12.8-13.0 from about 4.5k-6k. I wouldn't think your MAF would have anything to do with it?

    Well, my first run on the dyno as a baseline run, (set timing adjuster to stock for this run) was 251.57 rwhp and 281.87 rwtq. Tim said that this was very strong for my mods and he was impressed. He then began trying to tweak the A/F and timing in different places but couldn't get anymore HP out...
